It's been nearly five months since I shut my humanity off and let me tell you what a wonderful five months it's been.

It started in Mystic Falls five months ago and a few hundred ripped bodies later we're currently in.. well actually I have no idea where I am.. well anyway my point is the killing, it's been a good hunting season and it's not over yet.

I'm in a small town, yeah it appears I have a thing for small towns, it's just something special about how fast the horror spreads in them. Anyway, so I'm in this small town and I'm thinking it might be time for a game so I inlisted to the high school. That way, I will get to watch front row how the fear spreads.

"Stefan Salvatore?" The woman asks and I manage a smile towards her as I nod "here's your schedule, if you have any problem with finding your class just let me know" she winks at me and I make a mental note to kill her first.

"Thank you"

As I walk down the hallway everyone starts to gossip, a downside with being a vampire.. the hearing. The girls are fawning over my looks and the guys are acting tough talking me down as some creep.

I smirk, If only they knew...

Entering the classroom the first thing I notice is a girl sitting on her own by the window. I guess it wouldn't stand out as much had the rest of the girls not all been sitting together at the other side of the room, gossiping.

A smile forms on my lips, a loner means an easy target..

I walk towards her and sit down in the seat next to her.

"You don't want to sit there" her voice is calm, almost sounding bored and her face stays turned to look out the window.

"Is it taken?" I asked, honestly a bit confused.

A small chuckle is heard as she shakes her head a bit "No, no one would risk social suicide for a chair"

Frowning I reply "It can't be that bad, now can it?"

Her only response is a casual shrug so I continue "well let them try their best then"

Slowly she turns to look at me, a shy smile and confusion in her eyes "Why would yo.." the second her eyes lands on me her entire body stiffens and for a second I'm convinced she knows what I am but then a frown takes over her features "they set you up to this, didn't they?" her voice now turned to cold and distant.

I mirror her frown "who?"

"Look, I'm really not up for this so whatever it is they want you to do, just get it overwith" she sounds exhausted.

"What are you talking about?"

She looks over my shoulders and as I turn to look at what she is watching I notice that the entire classroom had stopped and was watching us with confused looks.

"Why are they starring?" I whisper back to the girl, honestly a bit annoyed

"Cause you're talking to me"

"So?"

"You're not supposed to.."

"Why?" I turn back to look at her.

"Because you're hot" she shrugs and I smirk.

"You think I'm hot?"

She slaps the back of my head, like actually hit it...hard. "Don't be a dick about it" she glares at me and what's really has me confused is the fact that I don't want to rip her throat for hitting me.

In fact, I'm not sure I want to rip her throat at all...

"I'm Stefan" I offer har my hand to shake and she rolls her eyes as she takes it in her. The second her hand touches mine I feel something shift inside me.

Her eyes stay locked with mine and I wonder of she could feel it aswell, how everything just changed. Her voice comes out in almost a whisper "Rose"
