مساء الخير

As I lay my head down to rest,Oh Allaah forgive me for I have transgressed...

May my eyes see the dawn of another day,so that I may in solitude pray...

May my heart beat strong infused with your Love,enveloped in the carefree peace of a dove...

I submit,I surrender,I repent,I relent...

I flee to You my tears well spent.

I have hope in the rise of the splendid sun...

It is only to You that my soul can run...

From the shackles of my nafs do I aspire to be free...

Cocooned in your Grace,accepting Your Decree...

Heal me,Help me,Humble me,Honour me...

Turn me away from all that misguides me...

Oh my Allaah keep me in the shadows of Your Grace...
