Chapter 2
Athena took Anya to Greece by plane, she could've let them appear at the shelter, but Anya had a lot to deal with and the time it will take to get to the shelter will help her with it.
She could hear her daughter's thoughts; it was filled with hatred for the shelter and for her. Even though it hurt her, she wasn't mad. How could she be? Anya felt abandoned and she couldn't blame her.

From the airport they drove in a hired Land Drover through the desert, it was a very long and quiet trip; "You will like it there, I promise." Athena assured her, breaking the silence.
"Doubt it." She replied looking out of the window, which depressed her even more since all she could see was sand, sand and wait for it... more sand.
"You will, I promise."
"Don't make promises you can't keep." On that cheery note the conversation ended.
Finally after an half an hour's worth of desert they reach a gigantic oasis, in the middle of it was a huge building three stories high.
In front of the building everyone was divided into groups; the first existed of two pretty girls and a very handsome guy, who were sitting in the shade obsessing over themselves in mirrors, the second group was the largest, they were wrestling each other in the sand, the third were divided into two sub-groups, one half was singing and playing on instruments and the other half was practicing archery, the fourth was in the swimming pool, racing each other and the fifth group was even larger than the second, they seemed to be arguing with each other.
As soon as everyone noticed Anya and Athena, they stared at her with surprised expressions.
"This is as far as I go, there is a woman inside, go to her she's expecting you."
"Sure."
"Good bye Anya."
"Whatever." She turned around and entered the building, like Athena said there was a woman with long blond hair and brown eyes in the lobby; "Hey I was told that you were expecting me."
"Anya?"
"Yeah."
"Welcome, my name is Maria, let me show you to your room." She led her to a hallway but before they could enter it a girl with short curly red hair rushed towards them; "Maria you got to help, my siblings are fighting again." She didn't look older than thirteen or fourteen.
"What is it this time?" Maria asked annoyed.
"Two of my brothers found out that they were both dating the same daughter of Aphrodite and everyone has else has chosen a side?"
"Shouldn't their fight be with the Aphrodite?"
"They're not fighting about the fact that they both dated her, they're fighting to see who gets to keep dating her."
"Typical, the son's of Zeus only care about female companionship."
"Yeah, it's annoying and it makes me so mad!" As the girl said it Anya heard lightning echoing from outside.
"Whoa there Claire, relax."
"Sorry I can't help it that I got my daddies short temper."
"I understand, but would you do me a favor and show Anya here to her room, while I go sort out your sibling?"
"Sure, where's her room?"
"She's your new roommate."
"Awesome!" She turned to Anya, "As you heard, my name is Clair, I'm a daughter of Zeus, just follow me."
