Hermione's POV
I get up and get dressed. I leave my room to see Malfoy int he common room asleep on the couch fully clothed. I'll let him be, just kidding.
"Malfoy! Get up!!" I scream really close to his head.
"Ahhgg Granger! How are you so loud?!?" He groans sitting up.
I shrug.
"Dumbledore said we had to be at breakfast so...are you ready?" I say.
"Ya I guess...Why do we have to be at breakfast?" He asks.
"I don't know, but it must be important." I says as he gets up and grabs his bag. We walk out. We separate once we reach the Great Hall, him going to the Slytherin table, and I going to the Gryffindor table. Wait did we just a civil conversation?
"Morning Mione!" My three friends greet me.
"Morning boys. Harry, where's Ginny?" I greet then ask.
"Still sleeping. She'll be here soon though." Harry replies.
"I wonder why Dumbledore made sure we were here." Neville says curiously.
"Dunno," Ronald says, "Bet it's not good."
"Oh here comes Gin."Harry says smiling.
We finish breakfast then Dumbledore dismisses everyone but the 6th, 7th, and 8th years (those returning to finish).
"Alright. This is hard for me to say but the Ministry has enforced a new law. This law is for the purpose of getting our numbers up. This is a law of marriage, a Marriage Law. All your classes have been canceled today so we can explain the law and so you can get to now your partner. Now you must be married by Easter break. And you must be with child with in a year of your marriage. More on those will be given later. Now Professor Mcgonagall please explain the pairing." Dumbledore announces.
There is a lot of shouting and profanities thrown around.
"Quiet! Quiet you rambling bunch of baboons! Now we'll call up the girl and the sorting hat will be placed on their head. And there is absolutely no switching!
Susan Bones!" She calls.
She goes up and the hat is placed on her head.
"Gregory Goyal!" The hat calls. She breaks out in tears.
Many names are called.
"Luna Lovegood!" Mcgonagall calls.
Luna goes up and the hat is placed in her head. It thinks then...
"Theodore Nott!" The hat calls. Luna simply stands up and goes and stands next to him.
"Geneva Weasley!" Mcgonagall calls.
She goes up in tears with her fingers crossed that it will be Harry. The hat barley touches her head.
"Harry Potter!" The hat says.
Ginny gets up and runs into Harry's arms. He picks her up and kisses her.
"Hermione Granger!" Mcgonagall calls.
I go up and the hat is placed in my head...

"Hmm Intelligent, bold, humble for the most part, Hmmm I know who to put you with..." The hat says in my head before....
"Draco Malfoy!" I just stand up and walk over to him feeling lightheaded and like I'm going to cry. I cover my emotions with a mask that shows no emotion not even in my eyes.
"Pansy Parkinson!" Mcgonagall calls. Parkinson goes up and the hat barley touched her head....
