Lonely Winter

PART 1

It was a happy life with her husband. Her dream of marrying the guy that she loves do come true. But after a while, all of her happiness collapsed when the tragic accident killed both of her parents-in-law. Her husband is an only child and there is no wonder that her husband, Jack was truly effected after that day. Rania is an orphan.

Since the fatal accident,, Jack was no longer the romantic guy that Rania knew. Jack has become more to a cold-hearted guy. And he is no longer willingly to treat Rania as her wife. For him, Rania is the caused of his parents' death as she is the one who forced her parents to come at her piano competition. Without him knowing about  it.

Rania actually was planning to make a surprise for her beloved husband but it all went south when her parents-in-law involved in a tragic accident while Rania was on the phone with Mr.Joshua, her father-in-law. The bad idea was, Mr. Joshua was driving at the time. While on the call, Rania could heard a loud crash and the sound from screeching tire. With that, the call was off.

Rania was drown in an extremely guilty and feels like she deserved the bad treat from her husband. But after day by day, it seems like Rania can't hold the cold enviroment anymore. Jack completely isolated her.

Jack coming home once in a week was such a blessing for her already because usually Jack would never come back once she said that she miss him. Jack become sensitive if she mentioned anything related.

The sound of the door unlocked from the outside was like a electric shock for Rania. His beloved husband came home. She quickly walked to the door and greet her husband. It's okay for her if he didn't even look at her face as long as she can still remember the face of her loved one.

"Thank you for coming home." Rania greeted her husband with the sweetest smile ever but still didn't get any response from her husband. As usual.

" Can i know where have you been? it's been a month you're not coming home." Rania asked him while he walked to the kitchen without looking back at all.

"None of your business." He make it simple.
" But, still can you please remember me? i'm a woman living alone in this house and it could be dangerous. Plus, i'm your wife." Rania hold her tears from pouring down .

"(Smirk) Wife? you call yourself a wife? Nice joke". Jack continue gulping the warm water.

"If you want to call yourself as a wife, get lost from my life!!" Jack closed the refrigerator hardly and bang the water bottle on the table. Making Rania shock!

It is no longer unbearable. Rania's tears finally running down on her cheeks.Big steps coming towards her and standing in front of her now is her own husband.

"I'm sorry,Nia. But looks like i can no longer love you like before." With that Jack leaves the house once again.

Rania cry her heart out, kneeling on the floor. Before Jack could leave, Rania sobs somehow told his brain to stop walking further.

" But Jack, i want you to know, that i love you so much and it will never fade away."

Hearing those words makes his blood boiling once again.
"I've told you before not to say those words!!!!! you're not even worth it to say it. Don't you dare!!" Jack screamed and leave the house.

Outside from the house, his steps became heavier as the image of Rania crying every single day he visits the house coming in his mind. He didn't bear to watch it too, but the fact that Rania was the caused he lost both of his parents makes his anger mountain up more. And the anger successfully cover up all the love towards his wife.
