Lonely Winter

PART 7

       There are a lot of people at the amusement park even though the weather was really cold. Rania waited for Danny while sitting on a bench and fix her scarf to warm herself. She has not been to an amusement park for a long time. Somehow, she miss it a lot. Sometimes, Jack came to her mind, yearning her to reminisce back the time when she and Jack had their first date at an amusement park in Australia. And now, Danny did the same thing too. She can't lie to herself because actually, she miss her husband.

     "Rania!" Danny showed up from the crowd with candy floss in his hand. Pink in colour. Rania gave him her sweetest smile and quickly stand on her feet.
       " Don't run Danny. It's slippery here." Rania told Danny who still acts like a child. Danny rubbed his neck and hand the pink candy floss to Rania shyly.
        " Since when you're being too shy with me?" Rania scoffed and has her first bite,eating the sweet candy floss.
        " haha. I don't know. Maybe because it's my first time." Danny fixed his hat and hair after the cold chilly wind ruined it all.
         "Let's go. I want to try riding that thing over there." Danny behave childishly while pulling Rania to the game that he want to try. Rania just followed his step while laughing slightly . Danny's childishness somehow entertained her a lot.

        But Jack still lingering in her mind. Deep inside her heart, she wish that Jack will did the same to her , but remembered the night when she said that she didn't love him anymore, Rania was really sure that Jack must be really broken and never wanna see her face anymore. Truthfully, she didn't mean it.

        Rania was about to cry when she was reminiscing the memory again but quickly stop her heart from ordering the tears to fall as she didn't want Danny to worry about her and ruining his first date.

    It's the second day of their date. As for this time, Danny rent a luxury restaurant just to organise a perfect candlelight dinner with Rania.
    "You looks so beautiful tonight ." Danny's praise makes Rania blushing hard. Her simple Red gown however succeed on making the man in front of her amazed.
     "Thank you." Rania answered while moving strand of hair away from her face to the back of her ear.
      "Shall we dance?" Danny asked and ask for her hand.
       Even though this moments also remind her of her date with Jack,Rania tried her best not to cry and let out a smile and accepted Danny's hand.

      With the graceful music combining violin,piano and other music instruments, the night went so romantic.

     "Thanks for  spending the whole two days with me. I will not ever forget it" Danny start a conversation.
      " When is your flight to Hong Kong?" Rania asked.
       "It's early in the morning."Danny answered.
     When Rania was about to ask more about the reason why they can't meet after his trip to Hong Kong, Danny cut her words first.
    "Can we stop talking about my leaving and lets eat. I'm soo hungry." Danny stop Rania's intention from asking so and make his puppy face asking for food.
Rania let out a chuckle and link her hand with Danny's, walking together to the well-decorated table.

     Rania wandered around the luxury restaurant to collect some beautiful views. She was so amazed by the architecture of the restaurant and the view that they provided. Rania walked to the veranda and peacefully admired the city from afar.
      "Enjoy the view my lady?" Danny popped out of the blue , making Rania shocked a bit.
      " You scared me!" Rania hit Danny's shoulder slightly and gave him a smile.
      "But there's something that i'm more afraid of." The cheerful Danny suddenly change to a serious one.
       "Your smile."
       "What are you talking about?" Rania asked , still puzzles for Danny's words.
        "Will you promise me something after this?" Danny asked while holding both of her hands. Rania rised up her eyebrows as a sign asking him what.

        "After I leave you tomorrow, promise me that you will still smile for me"
       "Yes boss!"
       "Promise me to stop living in misery"
       "Okay,boss"
       "Promise me that you won't forget me"
       "Yes, i will not"
        "Promise me you will love your husband."
         "Yess i..... what??!"
     
      Rania stopped answering his questions and looks up to Danny's face.
      
      Are you crying???!! Rania was very shocked when she can see a drop of tears mark on his cheeks.

       "What's wrong?"Rania asked in panic.
       "I know you still loves your husband. I can see it from your eyes. " Danny spoke up with smile on his face even though his eyes were dripping the warm salted water.
        "I....i...." Rania struggled to continue her words because dilemma came attacked her once again.
      "It's okay , Rania. I'm gonna be totally fine.I'm glad to know that." Danny finished up his words by hugging her tightly, like there is no more tomorrow .
       "Danny....i.."Rania still failed to voice her heart out.
       Danny broke up the hug and wipe away his tears.
       "Shall we go home now?" Danny grab Rania's hand and head to his car.
      
        Along the journey home, none of them speak.
