|Chapter 1| The New Student

Jinyoung's POV:

I walk into my new school, JYP High, feeling very.... anxious. It's my new year and also my last, yup I'm a 12th Grader (Year 13 for you people who's schools go by years) Everyone had a group and I was the 'new guy.' *sigh* Why did I even have to go to this school when I could of stayed back in Busan in the first place?

Anyway enough complaining, I continued to stroll down the hallway until I heard a very loud conversation which obviously caught my attention.

"...Come on please~?" a young girl whined to a boy who looks like he's around my own age. His hair was swept back and he was wearing lots of black pieces of clothing that I would normally never ever (A/N Never Ever!) think about wearing. His ears were basically a rack where a bunch of different earrings dangled and very defined eyebrows which, honestly, looks pretty good. Oi Park Jinyoung snap out of it, people will think you're a weirdo! I couldn't help myself.... I'm curious cat... "No, now start heading back to class" he pestered. The girl huffed, turning the other way and meeting up with three other boys who were making there way up the stairs. Interesting..... I looked back to the guy again who met up with his own friends as well... who were holding hands apparently.... alrighty then.... As I was staring into space a familiar pair of eyes caught my eye. It was that dude.... and he was starring straight back at me. I watch his eyes scan my body until they met my eyes once more. That glare was spine-chilling, like he looked deep into my soul. I realized that he was still looking at me and I was still looking at him, making me blush unwittingly. His lips formed a smirk until he was called by his friends. What the hell just happened?

Ignoring that, I resumed my journey to my home room. There I was instantly greeted by the teacher. 

"You must be Park Jinyoung?" she asked. 

I gave a small nod, 

"welcome to JYP high! Hyemi please come here." 

She called over a girl with long, straight brown hair, 

"this is Lee Hyemi, she will be your guide around the school." 

She gave a small hi along with a wave, I gave one back. The teacher turned to her, 

"Hyemi, this is Park Jinyoung, you will be supporting him until he doesn't need it."

She left to say hi to another group, leaving me with her. "So where do I sit?" I ask her. She looked at me for a bit until replying "it's up to you..." turning around she returned to her seat which was next to a window. I might as well sit next to her, it's not like I know anyone else. 

"So? Where do you come from" she asked with her cheeks becoming pink. You can tell she's very socially awkward, 

"Busan" I replied giving a smile to make her feel better. 

We carried on talking and getting to know each other. She's pretty interesting honestly. She has similar interests to me like acting, reading and studying.  

The bell rang and soon enough the rest of the class started to swarm in. I looked at all the different faces like the idiot I am until a familiar trio caught my eye. 

"That's Im Jaebum, Mark Tuan and Jackson Wang... 'the popular boys'" Hyemi explained putting up quotation marks with her fingers. 

The so called 'Jackson' turned around and looked at her,

"we are! Stop being so sarcastic Hyemi!" he pouted. 

"When can I ever stop being sarcastic around you?" 

In the background Mark was smiling his butt off while Jaebum looked like an annoyed grandpa. Wow, my first day and there's a lot of tension already. 

"Anyway Hyemi, who's this guy?" Jaebum asked looking at me with that same cold glare,

"this is Park Jinyoung, he's new here" Hyemi introduced.

I gave a friendly 'hello' and a hand for a handshake but instead he just stared at it and rolled his eyes, rude! 

"Come on Jaebum just shake his hand, be polite" Hyemi ordered. 

I agree with her... at least someone here has some manners..."You're not my mum..." he eventually shook my hand and he sat down next to me. Out of all the odds the person I find irritating on the first day decides to sit next right to me! *sigh* This will be an interesting year.....
