Just another CAMREN story

Camila sighed loudly when she thought about everything that happened and her face turned red. "Fuck" Camila said under her breath when she stood up from the bed. She looked in the mirror "I'm such an idiot, I love her so much" she said to herself when the door suddenly flew open. Lauren came in, "Who? I didn't know you had a girlfriend" the older girl said. "Y-you heard that?" Camila asked. "Yeah, y'know if you didn't want anyone to hear, you shouldn't talk so loud" Lauren smiled. "So, I was wondering if you'd like to see a movie with me? But if you have plans with this mystery girlfriend of yours, then we can do it another time" the green eyed girl said. "I don't have a girlfriend" Camila replied. "Oh goo- I mean, okay. So we can watch a movie?" Lauren said sounding relieved.

They arrived at the movie theater and the green eyed girl asked the smaller girl "So, what do you wanna watch?" Camila just shrugged. "Y'know, there aren't any good movies playing anyway, why don't we just go to my place and watch something on the TV?" Lauren said. "Yeah" Camila nodded.

After watching television for about two hours, they turned it off and just talked. Lauren put her hand on Camila's leg and moved her thumb around in small circles, Camila was surprised by this and she had to resist kissing the girl of her dreams. She wanted the girl with every inch of her but she could not have her, there was a moment of silence. "How'd you know?" Camila heard a voice. "Know what?" she asked. "How did you know you like girls?" Lauren asked. "I just did, just like you know that you like boys" Camila answered. "That's the thing" the words fell from Lauren's mouth "I don't think I do." "Okay" Camila said trying to hide the excitement in her voice. "What should I do? I mean, I thought that I liked boys since I was little but as I got older, I realized that I kinda like girls more. I've never told anyone this because I'm still a little bit afraid of my feelings and I don't know what to do with them, but you kinda understand, don't you?" the older girl's voice was shaky and Camila thought that she was going to cry.

"Don't cry Lo, there's nothing to worry about, you shouldn't cry. Come here" Camila stretched out her arms and the green eyed girl almost jumped into them. "I'm s-sorry, it's just that- that I'm scared and a little overwhelmed" the green eyes sparkling from the tears, looking straight up at Camila.

"Don't worry, I'm here for you and if anyone tries to hurt you, I'll mess them up, even though I'm not good at that, I'll try for you. You are my friend and I support you, I'll always be here, even when you don't want me. Know that I won't stop caring for you. If you need me, just call. I'll do the best I can to give you everything even when I'm not good enough, you deserve better, y'know. To be honest, I tried to push myself away from you all the time but I kept coming back even though I'm not good enough, I'm still here and that won't change" the younger girl said as Lauren looked deep into her eyes.

Camila noticed that she wasn't crying anymore and wiped the tears that was still on her cheeks with her sleeve. The green eyes still staring at her all this time. Camila tried to look away but she could not stop staring at the beautiful girl in front of her. Her stomach was filled with butterflies and she thought she was going to explode. She told herself to look away and turned her head to face away from Lauren. She still felt the green eyes on her and Lauren took her face in her hands and turned it back to her, the touch from Lauren made Camila's face turn pink, again they were staring into each others eyes. Lauren moved closer, not breaking eye contact.

To Camila it looked like Lauren was debating something in her mind as Camila stared into the beautiful green eyes. They were so close to each other, their noses touched and Camila felt Lauren's breath on her lips. Then Lauren broke their stare and looked at the smaller girl's lips, Camila sees this and she knew what Lauren was thinking and her face turned bright red and she bit her lip.

Lauren looked back into Camila's eyes and smiled widely. Camila wanted her to do it but she only stared at her, biting her lip. Camila tried to force herself to connect their lips together but she couldn't, she knew Lauren was scared. Lauren suddenly looked away. "Thank you for being such a good...friend" Lauren said biting her lip and Camila only nodded. After a minute of silence, Camila finally spoke "I should probably...um...go home now, it's getting kinda...late." "O-okay, I guess so" Lauren whispered with a shy smile creeping onto her face. Camila left.

Camila violently throws herself down on the couch. "Camila, what is wrong?" she heard her mothers voice. "Nothing, just tired, long day" she quickly answered. "Then go to sleep if you are tired!" her mother yelled from the kitchen.

Camila jogged up stairs and fell onto the bed, she couldn't stop thinking about the taller girl with the beautiful dark hair and emerald eyes. Why? Why did she love this girl so much but she could do nothing about it, she almost kissed her, what's wrong with her? Questions floating around in her head.

She decided to go take a shower. Camila's head was filled with thoughts of Lauren, she couldn't stop thinking of the older girl and her heart started racing at just the thought of the girl. For a moment she just stood there and just like the water flowed over her body, thoughts of Lauren flowed through her mind. When she was done she fell down on the bed and got under the covers, hoping that she would dream of Lauren.

The next day she and Lauren was planning to hang out again at Lauren's house, even though Camila was afraid that she would accidently show her feelings of love for Lauren and scare her off. But when Lauren opened the door wearing a baggy T-shirt and sweat pants and was just totally herself, with her hair in a messy bun and no makeup, Camila fell in love even more. Camila had never seen Lauren like this.
