Keith walked back to his room. He began to feel a little better, knowing that Lance's vitals had gone back to a stable condition. He took of his jacket and threw it against his bed as he faced the wall. Lance, to surprise him, had put up a giant collage of pictures of them. Keith smiled as he walked over to the wall, examining every picture. He smiled, memories flowing in his head.

"The time they crashed their lions in the sand..."

"That mission they went on, just the two of them..."

"Watching Lance sing in his sweet, melodic, voice at the karaoke bar..."

"Giving in to Lance and watching The Bee Movie..."

"Walking in on Lance singing All Star..."

"Laying in the grass, Lance pointing out all kinds of constellations to him..."

Before Keith knew it, he was crying. He didn't wipe them away though, he just let them flow. Keith couldn't keep bottling up his emotions. He laid down on his bed, letting the tears stream down his face. And Pretty soon, he fell asleep.

Keith woke up to white, nothing but white, he stood up, he wasn't in his room anymore. "Hello?" He called. Keith turned around. His eyes widened. "L-Lance? Is that, r-really you?" He said, in complete disbelief. There Lance stood, in his paladin armor, completely fine. He held out his hand to Keith, flashing his perfect smile. Tears of joy fell from Keith's eyes as he ran to Lance, the red paladin's hand outstretched to grab the blue ones'. Keith grabbed Lance's hand, except he didn't. His hand went right through. Keith looked up, eyes wide. Lance, or the hologram of him, was screaming, as if he'd been shot again. His armor cracked, blood poured from the cracks. "Lance! No!" Keith yelled. He tried to reach him, but something was keeping him from doing so. He looked at Lance in horror. Lance's eyes had become an electric blue. He looked up at Keith. "This, this is all. Your. FAULT!" He yelled at him. "If you hadn't been so, unbelievably stupid, I wouldn't be dying right now!" "I-I know Lance, I'm sorry." Keith responded. "LIES!" The blue paladin screamed. "It's always you, you think you're some big hotshot, always trying to be the best! WHO ARE YOU TRYING TO IMPRESS KEITH?!" Keith was in so much shock, he couldn't respond. "Maybe if you weren't such a selfish little bitch, I'd still be alive." Lance roared. "L-Lance, please I-" Keith was cut off as Lance screamed, electricity flowing around him. Keith ran towards Lance, banging his fists against whatever was blocking him. Then everything went black.

"LANCE NO!!" Keith screamed, bolting upright in his bed. He was drenched in sweat. Keith wiped his forehead and looked around. He was back in his room, it had all been a dream. A very bad dream. The red paladin got up, stretching and rubbing his eyes. Thousands of emotions were going through his head all at once. Keith paced around the room, he was confused and scared and angry and sad all at once. He continued to pace, running his hands through his hair.

 Keith couldn't take it anymore.

He screamed, pacing faster. He walked around the room, trashing everything. The sheets of his bed were ripped of, his desk was overturned, posters on his wall were torn down. Little by little, Keith started to turn purple. Bits of pale skin turned purple, his ears became bigger and furrier, and one of his eyes went from purple to yellow. Keith was panting as he looked around his room. Just about everything had been trashed, except one thing. He looked up at the collage. The pictures of Lance, all healthy and happy mocked him. Keith screamed and went towards the wall, his hands turning into claws. He attacked, ripping and clawing the pictures off the wall. Some were cut in half as they floated to the floor. Tears were pouring down his face as he continued to attack the collage. The galra boy finally stopped when only one picture was left. It was of the two of them. Lance had suggested that the team should go a planet with a beach, so they did. Keith and Lance went for a walk along the shore. Little did they know, Pidge and Allura had followed them and had secretly takena picture of the two without them knowing, but it was Keith's favorite picture. He growled, dragging his claws right down the middle. A sigh escaped his lips as he crashed to the ground. Keith sobbed as he curled up into a ball. He eventually fell asleep, on top of a hundred of happy pictures that brought him so much sadness.
