Chapter 12

Jimin pays a small fee for the bandages and the treatment you got. Right as he puts his wallet back inside his back, his phone vibrated and lets him know of an incoming call.

You slowly and carefully make your way to Jimin, he just got off the phone and looks at your slowly appearing figure with a huge smile on his face. „I've got great news for you. They found your bag."
Blinking a couple of times, you realize that he isn't joking. You return his smile and walk up to him, still not able to apply too much pressure on your knees such as by running. „Really? How do you know it's my bag? And.. how did it got found? Is my purse and phone-„

„I cannot answer most of these questions, so let's just go get your bag and your questions should be answered." He puts his hand on your back as he directions you back out of the hospital, patiently waiting for you since you can't walk as fast as he can. He holds the doir open for you and closes it again as soon as your body touches the fabric of the car's seat.
Jimin sits down again on the other side of the car.

You seem o be driving for quite a long time, but to both times that you asked Jimin where you are driving, he replied with „just a few more minutes".
Then you finally reach the location and you recognize it as a police station. Inside there was a officer at the desk writing something on a piece of paper.

Jimin walks up to the man „We am here to pick up the bag of Y/N." he proudly says to the officer while looking back at you for a brief moment.

„Oh yes. I assume the owner of the bag is the girl?" the man asks, putting down the penciland looking past Jimin to you. You walk over to the wooden desk and nod.
„Might you be able to describe a few of the things that were inside your bag as well as your birthyear on your ID?"

„Of course. So my purse which has 50,000 KRW in it and 2 pieces of paper with things written on. Then my phone without any phone case. My birthyear is Y/B."

„Alright, here. You can take your bag back. The person who robbed you shortly got caught by one of us because a citizen witnessed the robbery and shortly after called the police. So we were able to put him behind bars for some time, as he stole quite a few things and sometimes even harms his victims." he pushes your bag over the counter and you gladly pull it towards you, checking if everything is in there.

„Thank you so much, do I need to pay..." you start your question, but get cut off by the shaking head of the police officer.

„Thank you very much, have a nice evening." Jimin says farewell to the man as he puts his hand on your back once again and gently shoves you towards the exit.

You let him maneuver you and take out your phone at the same time, seeing 20 missed calls from Serah, as expected. Looking up into Jimin's face you tell him you need to get to your friend.
In the car you call Serah, which is crying on the phone.

„God damn you Y/N, stop disappearing all of a sudden!" she screams into the phone loud enough gor Jimin to hear.

„I'm sorry Serah, I am fine. We are on our way to you, okay? Just a couple more minutes. I will explain everything when we got to you." you try to calm the person on the other side down even though it seems impossible.

The car finally halts in front of the small building you came out a few hours ago and Serah awaits your arrival in front of the building. You open the car door and walk over to your friend as fast as your knees allow you to. She hugs you tightly and cries into your shoulder. „You stupid girl! I was about to call the police!" she sobs and hits you on the back, too weak to even hurt.

„I am sorry Serah, I really am." you reply with similar crying sounds and dig your nails into her jacket, never wanting to be seperated from your friend ever again.
After you've both calmed down, Serah lets go of the hug and asks what happened. You give a brief summary and with every word her eyes widen and seem to soon fall out of the sockets.
