Stephanie's Point of View
" HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE" I shout as all my guest arrive to my tiny dorm. Over the couple of months I can say I have made the best little group of friends consisting of Sam, Jonny, Phil, Lara, Alana, Will, Sam's roommate Guy, .... and Chris. They all have great personalities and a great humor.
"Stephanie we are all British beside Alana." I see Alana flip her hair "What the hell is Thanksgiving" Phil asks with Lara cuddled up to his side. " Okay so it all starts back in like 1621" " Stephanie no one came here for a History lesson!" Sam laughs. I give him an evil eye.
"Thanksgiving is Pilgrims, which were English people, coming for things like religious freedom. This is when colonies started forming and on this day a big feast occurred. So with that being said that's why i made chicken nuggets, Sam made french fries, Will you made the stuffing, Jonny... and Chris got dessert. I say with a smile. This is not what I'm used to for a Thanksgiving meal, but i would prefer this than being with my family, who didn't even contact me.
"Enough talking I'm hungry and is there any thing to drink with this" Guy says. " Don't worry Guy i brought beer" Chris says and we all laugh. "The whole mini fridge is full of drinks for tonight too. Non alcoholic and alcoholic!" I say
We all begin to chow down. "So this is an American Thanksgiving meal?" Jonny asks. I throw a fry at him. " Obviously not you fool! A dinner usually consist of a Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, gravy! Well that what my family eats" I say with a smile.
We all finish eat and the respective couple begin to snuggle up to one another. I whisper to Sam that one day Ill make him a full meal and then I kiss his cheek. " I'm so ready for this episode of British bake off" Lara says and Sam agrees like a four year old girl.
One thing I learned about Sam so far I'd that he us the biggest diva ever!
After the first episode we watched we handed out dessert, just some cookies. Then just as we are about to watch the nest episode Alana opens the door to an intoxicated girl.
" Hi Sammy" She blows him a kiss.
Oh no, no no.
