His eyes danced around the area, gasping for air as the boy held him up against the wall by his neck. Gene started doing this to the poor brunette ever since he left the Shadow Knights, and of course it was his excuse to threaten him with one of his secrets that he could tell the entire school. Now of course, it could be something lowkey, something that wouldn't harm him. But no, the one thing that would harm him the most, Gene threatens him with. His sexuality.
Laurance Zvahl is a gay, or homosexual, male. Nothing will ever change that. He claims he likes Aphmau just to get closer to Garroth, since his best friend clearly has an interest in her. But, that's also another problem he has. He loves Garroth, and he's heterosexual. You'd never catch a Ro'Meave kissing a boy. Never.
"Now, what's the little faggot going to do? Suck my dick in hopes it'll get me to stop buggin' him?" Gene used his free hand to motion for Zenix and Sasha, and those two just happened to have a small switch-blade on them. They weren't going to actually hurt him, they'd be in deep shit if they tried. Hell, his sister Cadenza has insane strength, she'd take Gene down in a fight any day.
But Cadenza's in college, and she can't save him from this mess right now.
In attempt to get this whore's greasy hands off of him, he tried his best to land at least one kick. But of course he couldn't. He never could in the Shadow Knights, what would change now? Nothing, he's just older by a few months. Nothing would change him, nothing would give him a new born strength, nothing at all.
Loud footsteps were heard, a fist soon coming in contact with the person who was once choking him, "Leave him alone." Of course, it had to be the one person everyone assumed it would be. Garroth Ro'Meave, right? Wrong, it was the small albino male that everyone thought had no physical strength at all, but he had just knocked out Gene. That clearly proves them all wrong.
Falling to his knees, gasping for air, Laurance looked up at the smaller male with teary eyes. Words somehow managed to croak out of him, "That bastard deserved it. He fucking deserved it." Loud wheezes came out of him, mainly due to the punches in his stomach and throat that happened before being choked.
As he was helped up by his new savior Travis, a pair of eyes hit him like a bullet going through his head. Garroth's eyes. They were watching the whole thing. Yet he did nothing, he just enjoyed it. His homophobic ass of his obviously enjoyed it, why wouldn't he? He's just like his father, exactly like his father.
At least that's what Hayden told him.
His eyes filled up with even more tears as the words were screamed from Zenix and Sasha's mouth, causing the whole school to gasp in both disgust and shock.
"Laurance Zvahl, you're fucking homosexual! Don't deny it! Why else would've Gene beat up someone like you?"
Anyone you could imagine, teachers, students, the nurse, anyone. They all gasped in either shock of disgust, disgust over ruling them all. The only thing that brought him over the wall blocking of his tears is when he heard the words of his fellow students, giving their opinion on his sexuality.
"Disgusting, burn in hell!"
"He should've killed himself long before now."
"I think I'm going to be sick."
"Why didn't he tell anyone he was messed up sooner?"
"He's mental, he's obviously mental."
"JUST FUCKING LEAVE HIM ALONE!"
Out of everyone there, everyone he trusted. Garroth, the boy he loved. The boy he trusted more than anyone else. Out of all those kids, Travis was the one to take action yet again. Why would he have even thought of Garroth taking action? The dumb-ass blonde wouldn't help Laurnace out even if it was to save his life. No matter how many times they claimed they were best friends, they just couldn't truly be them.
Running into the bathroom, tears streaming down his face, the brunette pulled out his phone and dialed his dad's number as quick as he could. He wasn't going to spend a day in hell after that happened, hell now he wanted to be home-schooled. A bit extreme, but he hates when people judged him just on who he is. Being one of the most attractive guys is great, you become popular, but having someone tell the whole school how you're gay ruins you. Not just that popularity no one ever gave a shit about, but you in general.
"Laurance? Aren't you supposed to be in school right now?"
"Dad please pick me up. Zenix and Sasha just told pretty much the entire school that I'm.. I'm-"
"No Laurance, don't continue. I know what you're going to say. Alright, I'll pick you up in fifteen minu-"
"Can Travis come over?"
"The albino kid that Aphmau hangs out with? Sure, if he'd like to."
"He likes to escape his dad. His dad can get pretty mad at times if he gets bad grades."
"I get it, my father was the same. But, it's fine with me if he comes with you."
"Thank you, dad."
With that, he hung up. Not even bothering to explain anything to his father. Clearly he didn't have to, his father understood his entire situation. And that was a good thing, for sure. Instead of going out and talking to the albino in front of other's, he sent a simple text stating that he could come over but he'd be picked up in fifteen minutes.
It's funny how just because of the small boy protecting him, he trusted him more than he trusted Garroth. The blonde didn't even do anything, and he barely knew Travis. Yet Travis had honestly become a big part of his life from just saving him once. Well, maybe it was twice in the same incident. But still, Travis had saved his ass. And Garroth didn't.
Why was everything about Garroth with him?
Maybe him going home would be the best for him, maybe if Travis did decide he'd join Laurance it would be best for him. Maybe Travis is best for him. Maybe Travis just wanted to seem tough. Maybe he was actually homophobic. Either way, Laurance was risking becoming his close friend. All he was hoping is he wouldn't be an outcast, just like Zane Ro'Meave.
That wouldn't happen, right?
