** SEMI SHORT**

It was about 9:30 on the East Coast and I was getting ready for this grand opening event for Nasir's restaurant. I'd rather be in bed, but who can turn down free food. Not I, plus i get to meet Jungle.
"Candi, when I tell you i'm so damn tired" I was going through outfits in my luggages trying to find something cute yet comfortable.
" Girl shut the fuck up, go out with ya man & have some fun family bonding time"
" His brother seems lit asf, I think we'll get along"
Ima ask ya ass one more time where you at" ~ 8:00
"You gone be late to your own funeral🤦🏽♀️" ~ 8:30
"See nah this shit started damn near an hour & a half ago. Slow ass" ~ 8:55
The time was now 9:00 pm , As my phone kept going off from text messages Nas was sending asking where I'm at, I finished applying my lip gloss.
"I bet yo ass just now finishing up ya make up " ~ 9:01
I laughed because he was so mad , but I was know on my way. I had Candi record me walking to the Lyft car & Once i got in I texted his worried ass back "Omw"
As my lyft driver rolled up at the restaurant, Nasir was already outside with Jungle.

The car pulled up as Jungle stopped his conversation looking at me. Nicki got out in some Pink jeans, a white sweatshirt, & the chain I got her around New Years.
"You bastard! How you not gone tell ya only brother that SHE was coming?" he whispered yelled while plastering a smile
"She's here now, you'll get over it" I shrugged as she approached us
"Hey Nasir, Hey Jabari" Nicki hugged me first then waved at Jungle
"Yoo , Nicki mf Minaj is here" he smiled
"Alright, Alright let's get inside before someone spot us" I said while grabbing her hand
"Nass.. How long are we gonna be here?" she whispered in a baby voice
"Not long baby.. we are just going to eat & celebrate" I opened the door for her and watched her walk through it
Eyes were on us as I walked hand in hand with her to our seat. It's like she stole the whole restaurant's attention.
Hours Later

"Here you go, Chicken & Shrimp Fettuccine with basil toppings & a lemonade " the waitress sat the plate down
"You enjoying yourself?" Nas looked at me
"Yes, This food is amazing & Congratulations" his eyes beamed at my statement
"Thanks babe" he continued to eat his chicken from the plate we shared
"Let's take a pic" I suggested
"You posting it?" he asked side eyeing me
"If you want me to" I scooted closer to him
" I don't care. If you ready to show the world then im wit it" he smiled
"Im not explaining shit though" I bit my lip
"You don't have to. Fuck them "
Jungle took the pic of us cuddled up & I posted it. Oh man did my notifications start dinging like hell. I logged out and turned my attention back to Nas.
"The shaderoom quick as hell" he laughed
"They already calling me names & shit" I pouted while reading hate comments
"I'm going to repost it to make em really mad"
"I'm really ready to go , so i can get back in the studio" Nasir's short ass neck whipped around at me so damn quick
"What you mean ? Studio? Nah babygirl we having our lil sleepover tonight. You'll have all the studio time when I go back to touring" he said in his raspy voice
"You so aggy Nasir" I rolled my eyes while gathering my belongings
"Ayo Jung! We out bro, lock up & don't steal no waffle mix nigga!"
Jungle laughs from afar while winking at his big brother
"I gotchu!" Jungle yells back
As we walk out the restaurant and get into his car, I felt so many butterflies around this man. He's really a MAN . I don't know where this is going to lead us , but I'm not giving up on this relationship so easy.
