Chapter 5

Ava's P.O.V

I woke up once again in a hospital room. I started to cry. Why can't I just die? I want to die. A doctor came in and said to me "so you finally decided to wake up?" I was so confused.

"What do you mean 'finally'?"

"You were in a coma for a week."

"Oh"

They ran a few tests on me and then released me from the hospital.

When my mom and me got home she didn't even talk to me. So I just walked up to my room and laid down. It was Thursday night and tomorrow I had school so I went to sleep.

Beep!Beep!Beep! I hit my alarm clock. I got ready for school and headed for the bus. I saw the bus drive off. I just stood there not knowing what to do. then a car pulled up next to me. I looked in and it was Matt. I started to walk away until he screamed "Hey Ava want a ride?" I looked at my watch then him. I had no choice. If I walked I would be extremely late. I walked over and got in his car. It was awkward until he spoke. "I saw your vine and heard about what you did. I'm so sorry for ever being mean to you. I didn't realize it affected you so much that you were willing to kill yourself." Did Matt really just apologize? the world is going to end. Matt pulled over to the side of the ride so he could look at me. "Ava I am so so sorry."

"I forgive you." I said quietly.

"Really?"

"Yes"

I looked down and started playing with my fingers until Matt lifted my chin so I could look at him. He said " Ava you are beautiful and I'm sorry for hurting you." at that moment he kissed me. OMG Matt just kissed me. Oh no what if this was just another one of his sick games? What are his friends going to do to me when they find out we kissed? I didn't know what to do so I just got out of the car and started running to school. Matt just say there in his car.
