Three weeks passed without a single message from Edward. I messaged him twice in those three weeks and he responded by unfollowing me. Surprisingly I was sort of hurt. I was getting used to his smart ass remarks and a good morning message. Today was graduation day and I was standing in alphabetical order. I could hear names being called and my stomach was flipping inside out.

" Ericka Sandoval" , I stepped onto the wooden step in my platform heels, without tripping, and collected my diploma. My mom and brother were screaming their heads off and a few of my guy friends whistled while my girl friends squealed loudly.

I laughed and stepped off the stage to my seat. I was sitting between a guy named Kyle and a girl named Bethany. They were both hilarious and were making crude remarks about almost every staff member at our school. About an hour later 200 seniors threw their caps in the air and our school anthem was being sung. I could feel my stomach in my throat and laughed off a few tears daring to spill from my lids. Adrienne was already crying and Tyler was hugging her. I felt two arms snake around my waist and Zach was hugging me tight. I turned around and felt him pick me up and spin me around.

" Whew! we did it. We're done with drama and silly stuff", he sighed a breath of contentment and I wrapped my arms around him, letting the tears fall on to my cheeks.

"I'm gonna miss you sooo fucking much!", I managed to choke out. He pulled back and wiped my tears.

" Don't cry, our lives are just beginning, and I'm still gonna go wherever you are to watch Netflix with you", he reminded me with a huge grin. I laughed and we walked over to our group of friends.

" IHOP it is !", Shane shouted out loud. All of us cheered and Darius jumped on Shanes' back.

I drove Kim,CeCe, and Darius. The others had cars and we met up there.

I texted my mom and brother telling them where I was and my mom promised we'd go out to dinner. While waiting for our booth, I started thinking about my dad. He missed so much in my life already. He was happy with his new family. New house. New kids to spoil. God, I missed him so much.

" Table for 9, follow me", a waiter called us. When I stood up and looked at our waiter my heart sped up. His name was Edward. I knew it wasn't MY Edward, but still.. a girl could hope. Wait what ? Edward doesn't even talk to me anymore, I found myself caring about him. I followed my group to the booth and we all piled in. Conversation was being carried and I was still thinking about Edward. I pulled out my phone and sent him a message.

Me: Hi.

I waited, my food came, I talked about college and dorms, I ate, and I waited.

Nothing.

I had already made it back home after shopping with the girls at the mall for some summer clothes and was about to take a shower when my phone buzzed. My heart flew out of my chest and I sprinted towards my phone.

Him: hey

Me: took you long enough

Him: i've been off twitter.. didn't forget about you though ;p

Me: thought you did.. its been 3 weeks...

Him: aww youve been counting.. ;)

Me: noo thats justa guess >.<

Him: don't be embarrassed.. its cute

Me: yeah.. not really :) i graduated today.

I didn't know why, but I felt the need to tell him about everything that had happened in the past three weeks. I even told him how I felt when I saw the waiter with his name. We talked for about an hour and I convinced him to set a profile picture. I waited about five minutes before another buzz on my phone sounded.
