A few hours after being dropped off at home by her teacher, Meg was sitting in the lounge room watching channel five news.
"Breaking news, it has only been hours since school has finished and already students from all over the country are heading to the beaches all over the continent." Tom Tucker reported.
"That's right Tom, students are heading to the beaches of Miami, Florida and California just to name a few, we now go live to Asian Corespondent Trisha Takanawa who happens to be enjoying the Californian sun as we speak." Joyce Kinney said in a cheerful tone.
"Joyce, I'm standing here at the alluring Venice Beach with my fat not so attractive husband who happens to be the principal of James Woods Regional High." Trisha Takanawa pulled a handkerchief out of her shirt pocket and wiped the sweat of her forehead. "The temperature over here is a hot eighty six degrees fahrenheit, perfect weather for spring break. With each passing year spring break gets bigger and bigger and I am pleased to say it will be hard to top this year's crowd next spring break; to help keep the party going this year, many artist people don't care about will be performing their latest hit songs and performing acts to keep their fans entertained. I'm now going to sunbathe with my fat husband, back to you Tom."
"Thank you Trisha, and now here is Ollie Williams for blackuweather forecast, Ollie."
"It's gonna rain!" Ollie shouted as the rain was pouring loudly.
"Thank you Ollie, well there you have it folks, you can expect rain for the next week here in Quahog."
Hail began hitting the window as Meg turned off the TV. Meg got off the sofa and looked out the window to see how bad the rain was, she was shocked to see that the road had become a river as rain kept flooding the street.
Lois then walked into the lounge room and yelled so everyone upstairs could hear that dinner was ready.
