It had been weeks since the last time you seen Killian, he was filled with dark magic and you had no idea where he had been. You couldn't sleep and you rarely ate worrying about him every day. "I searched everywhere even the docks and still no sign of him." David said as he sat down in front of you at Granny's. You buried your face into your hands exhausted from searching, you just wanted to help him, you wanted to hold him again but you couldn't.
"What is going to happen David, i don't know what I'm going to do!" David moved and sat next to you wrapping his arms around you and pulling you into a hug, "We will find him, i promise." He said kissing the top of your head.

* two months later *

You didn't give up your search for killian you wanted to know if he was safe, as you walked into work at the animal shelter you slumped down on one of the chairs. "You okay?" David asked as he walked in with Mary Margaret. You shook your head no and they both frowned. Mary sat next to you and took your hand in hers. "Maybe he will come to you, he obviously loves you and maybe there was a reason he left, maybe he didn't want you being hurt." You sighed and smiled, "i just want to help him." A tear fell down your face as you wiped it away. "Tell you what, join me for a walk David can take over from here." David smiled as you looked up to him and he nodded. The both of you went out for a walk heading to the forest. "I remember when i had first met Killian, I was but a farmers daughter my father had no money and our house wasn't as beautiful as those in storybrooke but we managed to get by. You see the queen would help him and he would have to pay her back when he sold things. On the night of my birthday he told me he wanted me to have a life, to go on adventure and that night He took me to the Jolly Roger and that's when i met Killian. We had such a long history back in the enchanted forest and i grew to love him." You said smiling at the ground, "It sounds like true love." Mary said as she wrapped her arm around your shoulder "he'll show up, i have hope for you."

later that night you were alone at home unable to rest thinking about what had happened to Killian, he had just vanished and you didn't know what had happened to him, if he was alive, or if he was dead. You also wondered what Regina and her mother were up to, after that day you told Regina her mom was here in storybrooke everything fell silent, there was no peep from anyone. It was too quiet which made you suspect something big was going to be planned, but you didn't care not when Killian was missing, you needed him back. No matter how stubborn you were, you couldn't fight this alone. You stared up at the ceiling of your bedroom, just the memory of Killians face made your heart hurt, you wanted to be with him, to hold him, to have him near you, but no matter how much you wished for that moment, it would never come. Or so you thought.

You heard a loud thud coming from downstairs, you sat up straight and it sounded as if someone was rustling with things inside your kitchen, you pulled off of you and stepped silently onto the wooden floor trying to not to make a sound. You opened the drawer and took out a flash light and a gun you had for safe keeping. You could still hear a rustling of pots and pans inside your kitchen and you crunched your eyebrows hearing someone whisper as if they were talking to themselves. You went down the stairs step by step getting closer to the kitchen. "Damn it." the voice said and you gasped knowing exactly who it was. The rustling stopped and the lights from the kitchen turned on, and out stepped Killian in front of you. You covered your mouth as tears started to stream down from your face. "Well, hello there love." he said smirking as he leaned against the wall with his arms folded in front of him, but you could see this wasn't your sweet loving Killian, this was someone else, he was different. "Killian?" you said under your breath, and he walked around looking at you up and down, "You know, you may be a fine lass but bloody hell you are one annoying woman." he chuckled. "You don't mean that." you said unable to process what he had told you. "Oh no I do. I had a lot to think about these past two months, and I realized that I never really cared about you, nor did i ever really love you." You could feel the pain in your heart. "Then why did you come here, if you didn't care about me." you spoke through your teeth. "Oh, I forgot my flask..A pirate can't leave without his rum." he said waving the flask around. "Take care of yourself lass." And Killian disappeared into a cloud of smoke in front of you. You sunk down to the floor your hand against your chest. You felt deeply hurt, the words that Killian had said to you hurt you, it felt like someone jabbed knives through your heart. You were unable to breath, unable to process what he said.
