You gasped at the news, "Are...are you sure it was him?" Graham nodded, " If you want I could take you there." You Furrowed your eyebrows and shook your head, "I..I can't, he doesn't love me back. I don't want to make things worse than they already are, I have to get back to work and thanks Graham." You walked inside of the clinic to finish the rest of your day.
Before you went home you stopped at Granny's diner to get yourself some dinner as you entered the diner went silent and all their eyes were on you, you could feel them follow you to the table their eyes burning deep on your back. "What is everyone looking at?" Granny shouted "Get back to your own business." she came to your table and smiled, "What can I get for you dear?" you looked at the menu and set it aside, "I'll just have the usual a burger, and maybe some of your famous hot coco." you smiled at her and she nodded as she walked off to get your order ready. You stared at the salt shaker in the center of the table and it brought back a memory of yours you once had of Killian.
***Flashback***
"Killian, are you sure you want to do that? I mean the food already has spices added to it I don't think you would need salt." Killian glared at you as he grabbed the salt shaker attempting to shake it over his food but as soon as he did the top fell off and the salt came pouring out in a pile on top of his place. "Bloody Hell!" he shouted upset at the fact that he couldn't enjoy his food, you giggled a little and he stared at you "So you think that was funny huh?" you couldn't control your laugh and nodded, "Killian that was pretty funny, it made my day." you said as you took a bite of your burger and watched him stare sadly at his plate. "Aw don't be upset Killian, here I'll share half of my food." you split up the food and a smile spread across Killians face. "Thanks love, I appreciate it." he said as he took a fry from your plate. "This will be the only time you will get any of my food, from now on no more salt!." Killian raised his glass to you and smirked.

"Y/N here is your food, and your coco." Granny set the plate down and the mug of coco in front of you startling you from your thoughts , she smiled and you thanked her. You finished your coco and took your food to go, you weren't in the mood to eat any more. you could feel your heart sting a bit the more you thought about the memory of Killian, your eyes filling with tears you tried to bite back the sobs as much as you could until you stepped outside letting your tears slide down your face. You missed him and you wish he would just come home and understand that you wanted to help him, that you loved him but a voice still reminded you about him telling you he never loved you at all.
As you got to your car you saw David pull up on the side of you "Y/N! there you are! Mary was worried about you since you didn't show up to our apartment so I decided to see if you were here." you rolled your eyes at David, "I was trying to avoid the Graham dinner date she set me up with." David laughed, "That was only a joke it was just us three, come on hop in." you hesitated for a moment but since David and Mary were your good friends you decided to go anyways and got into Davids truck. "Granny's huh?" you nodded, "Yeah I was hungry but I didn't even eat my food, I just got so lost in something I didn't have an appetite anymore." Davids lips went to a straight line, "Could it have something to do with Killian?" you sighed, "David, Graham said he saw him in Rumples cabin...I...I wanted to go see him and have him come home to me, but I just couldn't it'll only make things worse." Davids eye brows furrowed and stopped the engine of the truck, "Y/N, Killian loves you and he said those things because he was afraid of losing you to the darkness." you shook your head fighting back the tears, "I just wish I could help him." David pulled you into a tight hug and kissed the top of your head, "I know, but he'll come around, now lets get inside before Mary starts to yell at me." you chuckled lightly and the both of you got off and headed to the apartment.

That night after dinner David took you to where you had your car parked you both said your goodbyes and departed. Once you got home you took your shoes off in the entrance and hung up your coat, exhausted from the long day you had and the news that Graham had informed you of. You were so busy in your thoughts that you were suddenly startled by something making a loud thud in the dark kitchen room, you quickly turned on the light to see that it was Killian laying right in front of you he looked as if someone sucked the life out of him, the darkness was taking over his body. "Killian?" you shouted running towards him lifting his head up onto your lap, He raised his hand to touch your cheek "I never meant anything I said, I love you Y/N" you could feel your chest tighten, your heart beating rapidly, and the tears flowing down your cheek one after the other "I love you Killian." you kissed his lips softly and when you pulled away his eyes were closed. "Killian?" you repeatedly said his name but he did not wake.
