His face was curved in a disapproving frown. Managing to gather her wits, she shook herself out of her wandering thoughts, this was her chance, she needed to convince him she was trustworthy and not judge her by the scene she created outside.

"Karen has been planning a watch showcase and is looking for contributors." Joshua gabbed unexpectedly

Karen nearly choked on her drink, she wanted to approach this a bit more tactfully. But as usual Joshua already let his mouth do the talking. Sometimes she wished she could stuff a cloth in his mouth and send him to a dog obedience school. She had a plan on how to approach him and now she had to wing it.

"Yes, yes, I am looking to do a watch showcase, especially during the festive season it will encourage buyers to spend a little, everyone will be looking for Christmas gift ideas. This will drum up business for top brands." Karen talked on as she got lost in his eyes, they were hazel brown but oozed a certain darkness, a dark deep sexuality that mesmerized her. Her mind was wandering into a area she shouldn't be thinking. She heard Joshua clear his throat and drifted back into the conversation. What was happening to her, men usually didnt fluster her like he did. What about him made her lose her concentration and act like a giddy tom boy trying to hid her feelings for a cute boy in school . Woah hold up, did she just say feelings. Maybe it was the lack of sleep or the anxiety, she barely knew him, she couldn't possibly have feelings.

"Interesting. Why dont we catch up over dinner and you can tell me what your plan is, for this showcase. I will make my decision after the dinner. I'm sure you would have heard that I am looking to sell my Jager Lecoutre watch but I am looking for a serious buyer, someone who is willing to buy it for more than what its worth and for that I need a reliable mediator and a strong negotiator. I have had a few people approach me already, promising to get me a good deal, but having seen your feistiness outside today, maybe you might get me a better deal." Christopher said

"I promise you I will and you wont regret showcasing your other watches too" I breathed excitedly, my cheeks flushed.

"Now now Ms Karen let's not jump the gun as yet, nothing is confirmed. Why don't you give me your card and I will have my assistant call you to set up a time."

A week went by and she hadn't yet heard from Christopher. Her hopes on the showcase were diminishing. she had to think of something quickly. He didn't even have the courtesy to call and say that he isn't interested. Men always had to play hard to get, it angered her to no end. This is why she stayed away from men. Men always demand they wanted someone equal but when it come down to it, they felt threatened and acted like a pansy. Fine, she knew his watches and his name would have been great business of her. But it doesn't matter now, thanks to him brushing her off, she would find someone else, she always made it work. But in her heart she kept staring at her phone, willing it to ring, hoping he would call. She gave up and decide to do some research on collectors she could call to showcase. She texted a few contacts she knew hoping they would agree. She decided to give Joshua a call too and find out if he knew of anyone.

"Hi gorgeous! Why do I have the pleasure of your call this late at night. I am just about to head out to find me some tail." he laughed loudly.

"Oh I forgot its Friday night, sorry I will let you be. We can discuss this tomorrow, its work related. You dont worry." Karen apologized.

"Do you do anything beside work? Your vagina must be like the Sahara desert, all dusty and dried up. Why dont you live a little, go and have fun. Do something beside work."

"Please Josh, dont turn into my mom. I am just worried about the showcase, Christopher was supposed to call and we were supposed to finalize on the showcase. If he didn't want to take me to dinner, that was fine by me but atleast he should have had the decency to call. he is so frustrating, just because he has money he thinks everyone is at his beck and call. Anyway I just called to find out if you know anyone who will be willing to replace him. I need a showcase next week. " I begged

"Ohhh Interesting, I can see someone is all riled up. Finally a man has got to you, I thought your way too tough exterior would repel all men. Has he got your panty in a bunch or are you not wearing any. Are you sure the frustration is not because you are a born again virgin" Josh joked.

"Shut up Josh. You know thats not it, its my business."i replied annoyed. "Listen, I am getting a call, its an unknown number. You have fun chasing tail tonight. I will call you tomorrow post hangover and we will discuss."

"Yes hun run away. i will give you all the details."
