CHAPTER 6 // Airport Chaos
Cole's POV:

Maybe it's... "No, it can't be," I tell myself. I reach for my phone and look at the screen.

'23 missed calls,' it read. There were text messages too. I unlock my phone and I read them.

"Cole, I'm sorry... I didn't mean to!" one message said.

"I was displeased and you know how I get," another said, "I'm coming to the airport to see you!"

I looked back at Kylie, "it's her." I continued "it's Tasha"

She yanked my phone and heard the voicemail.

"I'm coming to the airport to see you!"

She sighs, "She loves the attention, doesn't she? "

"What should I do?"

Kylie replied quickly "you either wait until your name is called or you can go where all the commotion is at"

"Ugh, Kylie stay here. Do NOT go wondering off" She nodded "good, be right back"

I had found myself sprinting off to where the commotion is at and saw Tasha laying down on the floor.

We made eye contact.

"Can I please go over there, I was looking for him?" She said to an office, he nodded and followed her behind

Tasha gets through the people and immediately goes on the ground and begs for cole to forgive her.

Tasha gets a grip on my hands and starts crying.

"Baby, I can't live without you" She takes a deep breath and continues "

"I'm sorry to break it up to you but Tasha but you're wasting your time being here," I said coldly.

"BABY I WAS PLAYING I NEVER D-" I cut her off, "I'm not gonna get fooled by ur littles games, Tasha"

He let's go of her hand and looks down at her.

"Goodbye Tasha" and I started to walk away.

I looked back and saw two men grabbing her and taking her out of the area.

"Uh, so what happened? " Kylie asked me.

"Nothing, nothing new," I said and told a hold of my tears.

For the past few hours, I spent time on my phone and having small conversations with Kylie until we heard our plane number was called.

Kylie's POV:

We arrived at the plane and took our seat. Cole seemed pretty off earlier- after he came back from that thing he needed to go to.

I went on my phone and I saw one of my closest friends' post. "I'll miss this girlie☹️🤧," the caption said. That honestly broke my heart- I can't believe it I'm actually leaving my hometown- the place I was born and raised in.

I couldn't help but tear up.

I commented, "I miss you beautiful☹️💜 I promise I'll visit🤧💓." After that, I looked out the window and took everything in.

This might be the last time I see this place for a very long time. As the plane took off, I started to fall asleep. Who knows when I'm gonna come back here?
