Reader's P.O.V

Leaving the Lost Light ship was a bad idea. Telling them I was going to sleep and to not disturb me was also a bad idea. Leaving the ship on Delphi and forgetting the time they would leave was an even worse idea.
My brain decided to give me a great idea and leave the ship. I mean, not permanently. I just wanted to look around the planet. I knew they wouldn't let me since it was Delphi, so I lied. I told them I was going to sleep and to not disturb me. I put on my metal suit, I grab my device, that looks like an earth phone, that Brainstorm made for me and left the ship without being detected. A few minutes after I left, the ship began levitating and left. I stared in horror as they left but I remembered my phone like device and could call them. I have at least 8 hours until someone started to have suspicion on my absence. I decided to explore some more and call them later. I could find an animal here....yeah, who am I kidding? There are no animals on this planet but it would be at least good to explore and not be stuck on that ship.
I've been walking around for quite a while here. I walk around and avoid the building that has a huge, red 'X' on the door. As I walk around the building, I find another one. But this one looks more like a ship. It was huge and dark purple colored. My curiosity got the better of me and I walk towards it, making sure no one was watching me.
The door was opened so I walk in cautiously. There was no one in sight. I started regretting coming in here instead of calling Magnus to come back for me. I start wondering who's ship this is. Some random bot wanting adventure? An autobot? A decepticon? I prayed that it wasn't a deception ship. As I stayed close to the walls in case someone appeared and I have a better chance on hiding, I look around a corner and see a statue of Megatron. 'Definitely a decepticon ship.' I thought in fear. Now I really have to leave and call Magnus. As I was about to leave, I felt that I have to keep going. I tried to ignore it but I thought that I could find something that could help the autobots. I started to search for more rooms and I found one opened. I walk towards it and found something I was hoping to not find. I saw a decepticon on the floor, sleeping. 'Wait, why is it sleeping on the floor? The berth is right there.' I thought confused. I slowly tip toed to it and know noticed it wasn't any decepticon. It was a dog! A robot dog! I look at him bright eyed and smile happily. It's been so long since I've seen an animal. I couldn't have one cause Magnus said it was a big responsibility and me trying not to get squished on a giant ship with giant robots was an even bigger responsibility.
So seeing a dog after so long, I was ecstatic. I had an extreme urge to run at it to pet it and cuddle it. It wouldn't be as soft as an earth dog but it would be something. As I was getting closer, I saw it tense and started to move its head towards my direction. I saw it's red eyes lay on me and quickly feel with anger and hatred. I quickly ran towards it and pet it were dogs love to be pet. It's eyes widen and it didn't look like it was filled with anger anymore. It had more of a relaxed look and laid its head on the floor. I started pet him more and I saw his tail wagging. I stayed there for a while with him until I heard footsteps.

Kaon's P.O.V

We left the building that had dead autobots and decepticons and headed towards our ship. When we enter, I immediately went toward the direction of my room. When I entered, I noticed The Pet on the floor wagging his tail and looking...happy? What on Cybertron could make him happy other than us? He noticed me enter the room and he ran at me happily. He then quickly left my side and searched around the room, sniffing. "What are you looking for?" I asked even thought I would not get a clear answer. He stopped behind some mess on the floor and started wagging his tail. He whinnied and laid on the floor.
Suddenly, a small, organic hand reached out to The Pet. "Come out, organic!" I say in anger, ready to kill it. The hand stops and there comes out, what I believe, a human. It has (h/l), (h/c)hair and(e/c) eyes. I believe it was a (male/female). (He/she) stands there and The Pets starts to whine again. (He/she) reaches out once more and pet him near the ear. I stand there, stunned that The Pet would allow an organic to touch him. "Umm...yeah...hi." (He/she) says awkwardly.

*time skip*

Reader's P.O.V

That day I had the worst lecture/scolding from Ultra Magnus. Almost the whole crew scolded me for lying but I pretty much deserved that. I went back to my room and got out my phone. I went to my contacts and texted my new friend.

(Y/n): Finally back on the Lost Light. Nice and safe. But I got the worst scolding from what I've recently been calling him, 'space dad'.

Kaon: Awww, I would have loved to see your face.

(Y/n): Hey! That's mean! I actually kinda tear up. I hate it when people yell at me and this someone was a gigantic robot from space.

Kaon: Anyway, is it a good time to call you?

(Y/n): Sure! I'm pretty much grounded and I don't think anyone would come in here any time soon since they're busy.

I replied and he instantly called me. I press 'answer' and say, "Hi!" "Hey, (y/n)!". And from there, we talked for quite a while. I still can't believe I made friends with a decepticon because of a dog. A robot space dog, to be exact.

*time skip to when Getaway became an ass(he was always an ass, what am I saying?)*

"Where's everyone?" I ask since I saw practically half or even less of the crew. "Oh, our little darling human, I almost forgot about you. It's too dangerous here for you, especially since Megatron is here. We wouldn't want you to get hurt be him or the others. It's best if you go back home." Getaway says as he approaches me. "What? What's going on? What are you doing?! Back away!" I yell as he quickly grabs me and walks to the cells.
He opens the door and places me in the room and leaves. I run to the door but it couldn't open. I dig my hands into my pockets to grab my phone but, it isn't there.
I remember that I was talking to Kaon when I suddenly had a bad feeling. The feeling was so intense that I told Kaon that I was going to check if everything's ok but, I was going to keep him on the line. I put my phone on one of my pockets and go out and ask Getaway where everyone was gone. I must have dropped my phone when Getaway picked me up and I was wiggling in his grasp, trying to escape.
'Did Kaon hear him? Does he know?' I started to ask questions to no one. I realized I wasn't going to get out of this room anytime soon, I decided to fall asleep on a back corner of the cell.

*Time skip to a few hours*

I woke up to the sound of sirens. 'What's happening?' I ask mentally. I hear guns firing and I start to get worried. The firing stopped, and in like a minute, I hear multiple metal footsteps getting closer. "(Y/n)! (Y/n)! Where are you?" I hear a familiar voice and a bark. "In here!" I yell back and he footsteps got closer and stopped right in front of the door. The door opens and there they are, Kaon and The Pet. "(Y/n), there you are. I finally found you!" Kaon said happily. The Pet was so happy to see me, he came up to me and lick me, like, whole. Dog's big. "How did you find me?" I ask, petting The Pet and stunned that he was here. "I heard what happened through the communication devise, I tracked it down and here I am. Now, come on, we have to go now!" He said and picked me up and ran. "But, what about he others?! My friends! They did something to them!" I say starting to tear up. "I can't do anything. I'm sorry. All I can say is that they're fine. I saw one of them talking with the orange idiot. We have to go, I told Tarn that I would be back quick and it's been a few hours. I'll keep you safe until everything goes back to normal on your ship." Kaon promise. "Wait, you have your suit?" He asks and I shake my head. "It's in my room." "Alright, show me where it is." He tells me and I direct him to my room.

"Go, grab the suit." He orders and I quickly grab it and put it on. "Good, lets go." He said and picks me up once again.
We encountered a few bots, but Kaon didn't hurt them too much since he know their my friends, sort of, after what they have done, I don't know if to even call them friends. We get in another ship and leave the Lost Light. I watched out the window, looking at the Lost Light, my home. My tears flow freely as I can no longer hold them in. 'They betrayed us. How could they?' I ask to no one and I feel a digit on my head moving softly, like I was being pet. I turn around and see Kaon looking at me with those empty sockets of his, but I can see that he was looking at me sadly. "I'm so sorry. But I can't help them, but I can keep you safe. It won't be easy, but I will try. I will bring you back to the ship, but once it's back to normal and those bots won't be there." He once again promises and I nod. The Pet was on the ground, curled up and I walked to his head and rested next to him. Kaon walks to the chair and takes control of the ship. As I was about to take a small nap, I ask, "And when was the Lost Light ever normal?". Kaon chuckles and I smiled, falling asleep. Knowing I was safe with my two favorite bots.
