The Underworld Black Ninja Girl

Chapter 2

I made it to Midworld I really hate the portal here. Also someone came with me. Meet Hayleigh Dark she is the rank under me and my little sister. I should explain the family system of the Underworld.

This is how it works. When someone first enters the Underworld they are given an older sibling to take care of them. The older sibling will show them the ropes of Underworld life and they monitor them for their first hundred years. Oh and yes I have an older brother.

But Hayleigh probably wasn't the best choice to bring with her hibernation period coming up. Also before you ask hibernation comes every two years. During hibernation an underworld person is very valuable and defenseless. But now that I think about it.

"Hayleigh are you sure that you'll be alright" I said to her. "I'll be fine big sis". "How many times have I told you to call me madam or Kathryn. Besides how many times have I bailed you out of trouble for almost murdering someone". "But it's fun to see your reaction". "Well let's just go to the nearby village we can talk more there".

We started to the nearby village and had some banter here and there. Half way to the village I remember that the color of our skin is not the same as the people of Midworld and underworld people aren't generally looked upon well. In the Underworld people have gray/grayish skin. In the Upperworld people have pale white or pale yellow skin. So I nudge Hayleigh. I tell her that I will be changing my skin color so we can have access to all areas in the village and that she doesn't have to change hers. Which she chose to not change her skin color.

Twenty minutes later

We reach the village and we go to find the Mission Hall. After about five minutes of searching we find it. I register us so we can apply for missions this will allow us to earn money to help us get by while we're here. Since we desperately need money I checked the mission log to see what they had available. I spot one that requests help in getting rid of a pack of elemental wolves. I applied for it and we head to the location specified.

When we reach the location I noticed someone else was there and it looked like he was waiting for someone. He looked human and had pail skin and looked to be twenty one. So I decided to approach him. "Are you here for the mission" I ask him. He nodded and I was about to continue questioning him when I noticed he was glaring at something. I follow his gaze and realized it was on Hayleigh. But I decide to ignore it for now. "What's your name" I ask. "My name is Cristopher Flash and why are you with an Underworld person".
