When I first read the words Moon Water, I had never been more confused. There was other kinds of water besides tap and Fiji? This was news to me!
So, what even is moon water?
Moon water is water that has taken in the moon's energy. It is common in night rituals and the like.
Okay, great. How do you get it?
Why, you make it, of course!
How?
Well, you've come to the right place!1.) Fill a glass jar with water.
2.) During the night, place the jar outside where it will get plenty of exposure to the moon.
3.) Place mesh or cloth over the top to keep the bugs out. You can cap the jar, but this may take away moonlight.
4.) Let sit overnight.
5.) Retrieve before sunlight hits it.
6.) Do this for the three nights of the full moon (the night before, true full moon, and the night after). If short on time, only do it on true full moon.
7.) Store it in a cool place. It stays good for roughly a month.Tips For Closeted Witches
If you have a dog, offer to take them out at night and in early morning so that you can place the jar. If you do not, ask to take a walk or step out for fresh air to put the jar out. During cold months, you could say that you want to watch its freezing patterns at night. Or, you could open your window and set it on the sill in warm months.
