When I was younger I had a pair of pink jeans with a button that would never stay shut.
I would try and try to merge the button back together but it would always, always; come undone.
My four year old brain quickly realized that it was hopeless and I should give up, and learn to go with it.
From then on I left the button undone and let my shirt cover it; not fight with it, but to let it be.
This was an unforgettable lesson as it taught me to not get angry with the problems I may face. Not fight with them, nor get frustrated. But to find a solution that will accommodate everyone's happiness. Learn to go with it, or let it be. Always.(In this case, it was a little four year old letting her little belly hang out.)
