We got down to my quarters and started to make up for lost time. "mom what took you so long to come back"? she looked at me with a sad face. I could see tears coming in her eyes. "I had no way of getting back to you son". She said in a soft quiet voice. I knew then that none of this was her fault. I no longer wished to blame her for being away. I knew this had to have something to do with my father. HE was the cause for all of this pain, all of this hurt and sorrow. And wherever he is; he's living his life like nothing happened. Like he didn't even have a family. "I don't blame you mama. And I'm glad that you have returned". "I appreciate you accepting me son". She said with a bright smile on her face. The kids came in the room then, and they finally got to meet their grandmother. Mama was on the floor wrestling with Severus Jr. and having tea with Yashi. It was wonderful. I truly got to see my mother for the first time since I was young. And to spend time with her. I love how the future is looking for this family!
