After a couple of months later, when our soon to be parents found out about their upcoming child, Lucy and Natsu are currently having their first baby's sonogram taken.
"Yes, Mrs Dragneel just lay down for us please." One of the nurses politely said as she prepared the machine beside Lucy. Lucy blushed at her new sir name while Natsu smirked. Helping his wife on the hospital bed, he let her gently rest on her back completely.
Ever since they have taken the test. The two love birds decided to take a break off work for a few weeks to settle on the fact that Lucy's pregnant. And no, they have not told their family or friends yet. But they have their suspicions every now and then when they come along and visit the newly wed's house.
Especially, when Lucy hit three months. Grandine and Layla would always gaze upon her stomach excitedly, spotting if they could see a small baby bump underneath the loose clothing she wears now.
Feeling the friction she made of the warm sheets under her, Lucy slightly wiggled back abit wanting to be more comfortable. The woman's loose grey cotton long sleeve top brushed against both her smooth creamy skin and the white sheets underneath her as she wiggled slightly more. Natsu chuckled as he sees his wife wiggling uncomfortably as she tried to find a cosy spot. He then held the top hem of Lucy's light blue sweat pants with the light grip of his hands as if they were about to show the small baby bulge.
Rustling and tinkering could be heard near them as the nurse clicked a few buttons and gave a doctor who just recently came in with a white coat and all that cliche stuff. The two spoke in a brief matter and the nurse soon left after that. The male doctor then turned around to the two and smiled at the typical duo fooling around with each other.
He then coughed and spoke up "Hello, I'm Dr. Brownley, and you must be Natsu and Lucy Dragneel. I will be the one checking you're baby today."
The two stopped what they were doing and and immediately looked back at the short brown haired doctor. "Oh yeah right....." The two simultaneously exclaimed. Natsu took a tiny step back from Lucy as he gave her a reassuring smile as he felt her shaking a bit.
Lucy returned him a award winning smile as all the concern she had left her as soon as she shared eye contact with her caring gentle gaze of her husband, Natsu.

When the two exited the glass automatic doors of the place where they first saw their child in the womb, they were all giddy and cheerful like when they were little kids playing tag or hide and seek.
The beaming couple walked out onto the cement pavement that trailed back to their home in a 20 minute radius. And they were energetically rambling about the picture captured in Lucy's womb rested a small looking shadowed version of a fetus.
Hand in hand Natsu and Lucy awed at the photo grasped by the edges of Lucy's index finger and thumb clipping on the white out frame corner of their picture.
Natsu also had his arm around Lucy's shoulder as they both admired their little baby's photo. "What do you think the gender would be?" Lucy asked as she delicately stroked her baby bump with her free hand that let go of Natsu's.
Natsu followed the gaze of his wife. He then lovingly put his hand on top of Lucy's stroking hand and comtinued the rubbing. "I don't mind what our baby's gender is. I'll love our baby the same no matter what."
Lucy smiled and tilted her head to give a loving kiss on Natsu. Still in the position they are in now, Natsu eagerly returned it with the same passion and love.
"I love you Luce."
"I love you too Natsu"
"Let's not forget about our baby"
"You're right dear, we love you too baby."
"Yes, we do."
