Ashton's POV:
I am driving to Taylor's house. There's actually a reason I know where her house is...
In first grade I pushed her of the monkey bars and she broke her wrist.
Mom made me go over to her house and apologize. But instead of apologizing I teased her.
Mom thought I should be nicer to Taylor so, I got stuck having okay dates with her until like fourth grade. Her address is like etched in to my brain.
I pull up to her house, walk to get door, and ring the bell.
Taylor comes to the door. "What are you doing here?" She asks.
She looks nervous, like she's been caught doing something.
"I came to tell you that we still need to go to the movies." I say.
Taylor looks surprised. "I...didn't think you wanted to go..."
"Why would you think that, Taylor?" I ask. She was the one that invited me after all.
"Uh...no reason. I'll get my bag and come out, okay?" Taylor says.
"Yeah, I'll be waiting." I say as the door closes and I go to my car.
Moments later, Taylor comes out other house and gets in car.
As I'm driving I say, "I'll do it."
"Do what?"
"I'll pretend to be your boyfriend for one month. You know, to get rid of Sam. He's getting on my nerves too" I say.
Taylor blushes. "Oh...um...thanks. I suppose."
When we get in the movie theater I ask, "So what do you want to see?"
The theater is showing, Frozen, The Fault in Our Stars, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Neighbors, and some animated crap.
"Let's see...Spiderman?" I suggest.
Taylor groans loudly. "Ugh, Those superhero movies are so dumb. It's just action, action, action. There is literally no plot line."
"Well what do you want to see?" I ask.
Taylor is thoughtful and quiet for a minute. "Hmm...maybe...The Neighbors."
I look at Taylor with surprise. The Neighbors? That movie is about frat boys and partying.
I thought she would say something like, Frozen or the Fault in Our Stars.
"Who are you and what have you done with Taylor Joney?"
She laughs. "I have a life outside of my textbooks, you know."
"I'd love to learn about it. Bur first you're going to see Spider-Man." I say and move to buy us tickets.
"Fine then. We'll see both." Taylor says and begins to buy us two tickets to The Neighbors.
I look at her and laugh. I also buy us tickets to Spider-man.
The Neighbors is showing first, so we enter the theater.
While we are sitting in the dark I get to thinking. I don't really hate Taylor.
In fact when she's not being a whiny bitch like at school, I think I actually...like her.
But do I love her? Sure, I love some things about her. But to say I love here completely?
That would give me too much vulnerability.
Besides we're teenagers. It's not like we'll end up getting married. This just temporary.
So why not make the most of it?
