I slowly walked back to my dressing room and plopped myself on the teal fuzzy couch. I probably shouldn't have cause I'd wrinkle my dress, but.. I just don't care at this point.
I suddenly feel really sick. But not sick sick. It's weird.. I'm scared.
I feel fear filling up my body and I have no idea why.
That kiss..
Just being around Ross gave me butterflies. When our hands touched it sent a shock through my body..
But that kiss...
It sent electricity through my entire body. It left my heart beating fast.
I looked down at my sweaty palms and wiped them on my dress when there was a knock at the door.
"Come in." I said timidly as the door opened slowly.
"Nicole, are you alright?"
Ross' head peeped through the door, then slowly his body as he shut the door carefully behind him.
"Uhm.. Yeah.. Why?"
He placed his hands in his pockets and leaned back on the door while shrugging his shoulders.
"You.. You looked really sad when you walked away.."
Sad?
I looked down at my dress and he cleared his throat.
"Did you not like the kiss?"
My face grew red. I wanted to chuckle and tell him how much I loved it. But I didn't.
"No, there was nothing wrong with it."
I looked up and he had that sexy half smirk on his face. AHHH! <3
"So, you enjoyed it?"
"It was just a kiss."
Just a kiss? Am I stupid?
Ross' expression changed completely. His half smirk was now a slight frown.
"Just a kiss.. Huh?"
I nodded my head. I don't know what to say.
An awkward silence filled the room when Ross cleared his throat again.
"So..why did you run off then?"
"I'm... I'm not feeling well."
Ross then went full nurse mode.
"AW! What's wrong?! Is it your tummy? Want me to rub it? I'll make you some soup!"
"Ross calm down!"
I laughed as he took a deep breath.
"I'm okay. I promise."
He chuckled.
"You sure?"
I nodded.
"Good."
Just then.. Our eyes met. That half sexy smirk came back and he slowly let his eyes fall to my lips as he licked them. My bottom lip quivered as if it was begging to make contact with his. He placed one hand under my chin as he lifted my head up a bit. He then began to lean in very slowly and I felt myself pulling towards him like a magnet. Our faces were so close. I felt his hot breath on my lips when.
"ROSS. You're needed on set."
Shelley burst through the door.
Ross jumped back quickly and made it look like he wasn't even near me.
"I'll be right there."
"You better." Shelley laughed as he exited the room.
Ross slowly got up off the couch and made his way to the door. When he got there her stopped. Turned to me, smirked and said..
"You're a really good kisser by the way."
And walked out.
This can't be happening. There's no way I could be ....
I am in love with him.
The thought of this haunts me. I'm scared for my life. Ross definitely tried to kiss me. Does he like me? What's going on?
OMG what if Laura finds out? I'm dead!
I'll be so dead!
Oh my god!
"Uhm.. Nicole?"
I was taken out of my thoughts when a familiar voice rang through my ears.
"Hey Raini."
I sighed in relief when I knew it was her.
"Are you okay? You don't look so good?"
"Uh yeah..." I sighed. "Can I trust you?"
"Of corse. What's up?"
"Well.. 1st.. You can't say anything to Laura."
Raini started laughing really hard.
"I don't even tell Laura my own problems. Your secrets safe with me."
She gave me a reassuring smile and I could tell I could trust her.
"Well... "
Before I could even say anything she interrupted.
"The kiss with Ross was magical, sparks flew, and now you think you're in love with him. Or like him a lot. And you don't know what to do because you don't know if Ross likes you, even though he did come back in here and tried to kiss you. Plus, you don't want Laura to kill you."
"How did you.."
"I didn't. I saw the way you and Ross looked at each other. It's the look you give off all the time. The kiss was supposed to be a 3 second long peck. You guys went full blown make out session. I could tell on both of your faces that you both felt something in the kiss. Then he comes back, and almost kisses you again? I saw that by the way. I was snooping. "
She laughed and placed one hand on my shoulder.
"You two have a connection. Something I've only seen in movies. Either you two are really good actors, or you're both in love. Now, as for Laura. She'll bitch and complain, but I highly doubt she'll do anything because of her obsession with Ross. You'll be fine. Listen to your heart, and whatever happens, happens."
I suddenly felt closer to Raini then I have ever felt before.
"Thank you.. It means a lot."
"No problem."
She gave me a quick hug and giggled.
"Shelley wants you back on set in 15."
"Thanks! I'll be there soon."
She nodded and slowly walked out of the room.
All I could do was smile.
Does Ross really like me?
