Thank you for requesting, and I'm sorry that it took so long to finish. On vacay right now, so things like time and wifi are limited. I'm also sorry it's not as good as I'd like it to be, but I tried my best lol. I'm still an amateur and it's been a while since I wrote things like this, so it might fall short of your expectations. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy it! I will try to improve in the future!

"Did you ever wonder how we could have ever ended up as friends?" Wonwoo asked you, propping himself up with his elbow. "I mean, what were the odds?"

"I know right." you muttered, your back against the wooden floorboards.

*flashback*

"Hey! HEY! GIRL WITH THE PURPLE BAG!"

You quickened your pace to a fast one (get it get it) and weaved your way between the lively crowd of people.

"GIRL WITH THE PURPLE BAG WHO'S WALKING AWAY FROM ME REALLY FAST!"

You were sure 100% sure that 'girl with the purple bag' was you, but that didn't stop you from finding a way to avoid him. You had wondered many times about how you were going to die, but being chased by a stranger with a toolbox and then being bludgeoned to death by said stranger was not one of them. It was an irrational thought that a serial killer with a box full of potential murder weapons would be yelling for you through a sea of strangers where everyone could see it, but you know. You never know.

Almost there, you thought. You sped up and made a sharp turn to your right and into the antique shop you worked at. Your employer, a little old lady who stood at more than a foot below you, adjusted her tiny glasses at your entrance.

"Goodness, Y/N, is that you?"

"Sorry Mrs. K, gotta hide in the back room for a while. I'll explain later."

You leapt over the counter, much to Mrs K's discomfort like it always had been, and ran into the supply room, bolting the door shut immediately. Not long after, you heard the bell of the front door ring. You pressed your ear against the door, but all you could hear were soft voices speaking things that were ineligible from your side of the door.

Then it was quiet. You heard the bell of the front door ring once again. You waited for a few moments, just to be sure, before confidently striding out the door.

"Gosh, Mrs K, you would never believe me if I told you I was being chased by-"

A stranger. Who was standing behind the counter, with a facial expression as bewildered as yours. "Girl with the purple bag." he said. "Fancy seeing you here."

"Killer with the toolbox!" you exclaimed. "What are you doing here?"

You narrowed your eyes. "You WERE following me, weren't you?"

He stepped closer to you, sizing you up. "You know," he said, stance unwavering. "I gave up on trying to give you back your notebook, but by chance, we had the same destination. My grandma needed some help with fixing the bathroom door because she told me her only female employee slammed it so hard till the lock broke." He never once broke eye contact, keeping a steady gaze on you. He wasn't exactly smiling, but it seemed to lie along the lines of something like a smirk or a plainly amused face. You couldn't really tell.
