Chapter 12 pt. 1

~Giselle's POV~

Shit. I'm so stupid.

As slash was getting his clothes from the dryer I heard voices from outside. Great.

Jocel, Yajaira, and Axl walked in through the door talking about something. I just stood there looking at them and they stopped and looked around confused.

"Hi.." I say normally

"Whatcha doing?" Jocel asked looking at me suspiciously

"Nothing." I say shrugging. I was literally doing nothing I was just standing there.

"Oh, are you having fun?" Axl said with a grin growing on his face. Yajaira let out a small giggle.

"I'm gonna change now...." I heard slash say slowly walking up to us.

Slash still had the towel around his waist and Jocel stared at him wide eyed. "Umm hey guys.." Slash said awkwardly

Jocel looked at me and just started shaking her head and smiling like crazy. She walked passed us and headed towards the kitchen. We were left with Yajaira and Axl now.

"So you kids have fun?" Axl said putting his arm around Yajaira.

"We just talked." I simply say

"Mmhhm" Yajaira said with a small smile

"Well, were gonna head upstairs real quick" Yajaira said pulling Axl towards the stairs

"I'm gonna get going now, so good night" slash said getting into the bathroom to change back into his clothes

"Wait for me!!! I didn't bring my car, we can go home together." Axl said from the top of the stairs. Slash was about to close the bathroom door but he stuck his head out "alright but hurry up." He said before closing the door .

I walked to the kitchen to find Jocel sitting on the counter texting.

"Who you texting??? Duffy?" I ask

"Of course!!" She said in a high pitched voice. We laughed and I got out some orange juice.

"So what's slash doing here?" Jocel asked whispering "I thought you were over?"

"He came over to talk, he wanted us to be together just for a while until the baby is born.." I say getting closer to her "and then he still wants to be together even AFTER its born" I say putting my drink down and leaning against the counter

"And? What did to say?!" She said still in a low voice

"No.." I said and looked at Jocel she had a surprised look "you said no? Why? Didn't you want to get back together?" She said confused

"Yea I said no. And yea I did want to get back but if he's going to be a dad I don't want the child to grow up hating me thinking that I'm some evil step mother or something!" We were still keeping our voices down just in case slash came.

"Then why don't you just enjoy your time BEFORE Sandra give birth?" Jocel asked

"Because!!! I knew that if I said yes, we were going to have to separate like 9 months later and I don't want that.. It'll hurt more." I say before grabbing my juice and sitting at the table.

"You're so confusing." Jocel said taking a seat across from me.

"Trust me I'm confused too..." I say putting my head down on the table.

"Axl isn't down yet?" Slash asked

"Nope" Jocel said. I looked up towards Slash he was changed now and no longer seemed cold.
