❄ December's Christmas Special ❄

Welcome one and welcome all to Pokemon Writing League's Christmas Special!

For December, the entire contest will compose of three rounds of one-shots posted individually and a different prompt will be provided in each round.

Beginning with a maximum of SIXTEEN WRITERS (first come, first serve basis), each writer will be randomly selected and paired with another writer, one v. one. Judges will be given 1-2 days after each round is over to judge each pair and writers will be eliminated after each round to narrow down the participants until the final round. Each round lasts ONE WEEK, so that's ONE WEEK to write your entry for the round you are participating in! 

Schedule:

ROUND 1: (December 3rd to December 10th)

Judging: (December 11th to December 12th)

Word Count < 1k

(Beginning with 16, 8 will be eliminated)

ROUND 2: (December 13th to December 20th)

Judging: (December 21st)

Word Count < 1.2k

(Beginning with 8, 4 will be eliminated) 

ROUND 3: (December 22nd to December 29th)

Judging: (December 30th)

Word Count < 1.5k

(Top three writers will be ranked and announced on January 1st/2nd)

Also, by joining this contest before the contest starts on December 3rd, you have promised to participate for the entire duration of the contest with elimination being the only exception.
