MONSTA X: THE LEGEND

Chapter II

At midnight:
A hoodied man was walking in an abandoned street while dragging a mysterious bag behind him.

He kept walking and walking until he arrived at a big building that somewhat looked like a prison.

The hoodied man uncovered his face and put the bag down in before him as he stood in front of a barred window.

Seconds later, another man emerged from the shadows from inside the building. He had dark black hair and he was wearing a worn out white tank top that showed off his muscled body.

"Shownu, I brought what you wanted" The man with the hoodie spoke "Will this be enough to help you get out?" He asked as he passed it through the bars of the window.

Shownu opened the bag to find different kinds of tools. He grinned "Yeah, this is more than enough. Thanks, Kihyun. Meet me at the van."

Kihyun smiled and nodded. As he was about to leave, a shadow appeared behind him. Shownu noticed it "Kihyun behind you!" He yelled, but he was too late.

The guy that sneaked up on Kihyun managed to put his head in a bag and knocked him out, dragging him to a nearby building.

Shownu punched the wall repeadetly while cursing. He rubbed his knuckles and sighed in frustration "They'll get what's coming to them...Hang in there, Kihyun."

The next morning
Wonho left his house and headed towards his university. But as soon as he locked his door, a voice came from behind him that startled him "Shin Wonho!"

He whirled around immediately from surprise, to find his neighbor Minhyuk standing in front of him.

Minhyuk was a joyful boy since birth. He always smiles and makes the people around him smile and laugh. He was one of the very few people that could make Wonho laugh. He's known him ever since he was a baby. They're like neighbors and childhood friends. They also go to the same uni.

"Omo, Minhyuk! You scared me! Don't sneak up on me like that again." Wonho said as he tugged his keys in his pocket.

Minhyuk let out a nervous chuckle "Hehe...sorry, my bad. But, I have news." Wonho tilted his head at him in confusion, and that's when he saw it.

The dark circles around Minhyuk's eyes, the pale face, the trembling hand. Wonho started to get worried, so he hugged Minhyuk tightly "What happened?! Tell me everything!"

Minhyuk pulled away and looked around "Not here."

Wonho understood, so he unlocked his door and they both got inside Wonho's house. They both sat down on the couch next to each other in the living room.

"Yesterday, at midnight, I saw my brother sneak out. So I went after him." Minhyuk stated. Wonho had a surprised look on his face "Kihyun snook out?! Wow, that's a first."

Minhyuk continued "He got a big mysterious bag from the backyard and dragged it all the way from here to that abandoned creepy street nearby. He was trying to help...someone..."

Wonho thought for a second as Minhyuk trailed off and looked at him with an expectant look. Wonho scratched his head "Someone..." Then, it hit him "Oh my god...Don't tell me it's..." And they both said it at the same time "Shownu!"

Wonho got up from his seat and ran a hand through his hair while sighing from shock "He's still alive?! I thought he died! Why didn't he contact me?! Or you?! Why--"
