Love Called

Is it just me or is the world slowly breaking apart?
Are we not seeing the change?
The way we are slowly evolving?
Something is going terribly wrong
It's the same old story,
Every other day.
Another man dies,
And another child goes hungry,
While we sit and cry for peace.
Love called
She had asked where we all have gone
And why we haven't put an end to this.
Maybe I'm numb to the news
I'll send another prayer.
Maybe we're all just used to this
Or clueless
Or is that nobody cares?
There's another killing and our children have to pay.
We act like if we ignore it
It'll go away.
No, Im not a superhero
I just wanna save the day.
