The beast.

Dark. Its too dark.

I'm wandering around not knowing what's going on.

It feels.... So real...

My mind thinks its real...

Convinced that I can feel the coldness of the air.

I'm wandering until I reach a door.

I don't see it but I can feel it.

Its heavy, a strong metal door.

The handle is a cold, curved chunk of steel.

I tug the handle down desperately, trying to make sense of what's going on.

A dim light pours into the room.

There's nothing behind the door.

I hear a low rumble.

It sounds like a truck.

It feels... Strange... The ground moves...

Its not a truck.

Its a deep, bellowing growl.

Of a beast much larger than the small room I was currently in.

I run out into the emptiness of the place behind the big steel door.

The light fades into a room.

It looks like an empty warehouse.

I run around looking for a way out.

Then I feel it.

The step.

The earthquake like violent step.

The step that rattled my bones.

I felt it again.

And again.

It was getting stronger and faster.

I knew whatever it was, was coming for me.

I dropped like a pillowcase full of rocks and slid underneath the large opening in the huge storage shelves.

The ground rumbling steps shook fear through my entire being.

The force being brought down was enough to make my back slam into the floor everytime it stepped.

It hurt like hell but I stayed quite and as still as possible.

The steps got more violent, so hard until I saw it.

Its giant bear like foot was the size of a medium sized van.

It had no fur.

Its scaly evergreen shaded feet stops right next to my shelf.

It impatiently tapped its huge toes, its long black nails clicking on the floor.

Then it started.

As a low rumble.

Then as a deafening growl.

It was hungry..

And I'm pretty sure I was its meal.

With a headache causing roar it swings its body over and shoved all the shelves on the opposite side over.

While the beast was preoccupied with the broken shelves I decided it was a good idea to make a break for it before it decided to do the same treatment to the other side.

While it was growling again I took my chance and slid out on the sides away from it and ran.

As I ran I found a garage door used to bring new shipments of supplies in.

It was open just enough for me to slip out.

I wasn't quick enough.

The beast heard me.

It ran after me.

Its monkey like body with its low hanging arms swung again.

This time coming in full contact with my body.

Shattering almost every bone I have.

My body flung into the wall causing a huge dent.

The pain was so real.

Just before I blacked out I saw it running towards me.

Its lizard like demeanor scared me shit less.

Head jutted forward, ready to snap me up.

After I blacked out I woke up.

Tears running down my face, hyperventilating.

Hey guys. Sorry its late. Watt pad won't let me put the other story part up, the submission one. I've been taking meds for my ADHD and other problems. They have been giving me vivid nightmares and I think I will be updating a lot more in the coming weeks. Much love ~Blink
