"Ugh, I just had the weirdest dream, we were looking out off the side of a mountain for some reason, and then the mountain cracked and we fell down the mountain." Said Xander as he slowly raised up from the rubble.
"That was no dream." Replied Leah looking up upon the cliff that had broken off.
"Is everyone ok?" Tyrian called out as he looked for the others.
"Barely, I'm full of cuts and bruises and my glasses are completely destroyed." Replied Aurora showing her broken glasses to the rest of the group.
"Same here, except the glasses." Said Miles limping over to the rest of them.

Xander screamed out in rage. "I hate this!"
"I never see you this mad, I know it's not looking too good, but it's not all bad, I mean my glasses are gone but I mean it could have been worse." Said Leah in a reassuring tone.
"We have no food, no water, nothing to communicate with the outside world, no shelter, and all I see around me is poison ivy!" Exclaimed Xander as he tried to stand in a spot where there was no poison ivy.
"Chill out, at least no one broke any bones." Said Miles as he checked to make sure there were no broken bones.
"We can just climb back up." Said Tyrian as he tried to climb the rocks. It didn't really work and he ended up falling back down on his injured leg which had been scraped badly during the fall.
"I'm with Xander on this one, there's almost nothing good about this. I just wan't to go back to the cabin, eat some more pancakes and see Max." Said aurora as she imagined what it would have been like if they hadn't fell.

Max was a tall brown haired boy with glasses and he was Aurora's boyfriend.
"Let's at least look for a stream for some water, hopefully you guys have at least a little strength left and a nice stream where we could was off our cuts and drink some clean water would be nice." Said Miles as he hopped up to walk.
"I'll go, but if I get poison ivy, I'm blaming it on you." Replied Xander as he wiped off his cuts.

After 20 minutes of walking in silence Tyrian spoke up. "I wonder how the rest of them at the cabin are holding up."
"Probably better than us." Xander scoffed as he kicked a rock.
"C'mon Xander, you're supposed to be the smart kid and all you're doing is scoffing and complaining." Said Leah as she looked at Xander trying to bring the smile back onto his face.

Xander was usually upbeat and cheerful, also at school he was one of the smartest with his usual average over 90% and his grades were almost always over 85%.
"I mean, it's just tough to be happy, there isn't much to be happy about and I'd like to be happy, but I feel something from me is missing." Said Xander as he looked up to see a glimmer of snlight through the trees.
"I feel pretty much the same, except I know exactly what's missing." Said Aurora as she looked for the sunlight as it faded the further they went.
"Just find a way to look on the bright side." Said Leah as she tried to lighten the tone.
"What bright side, the further we walk the darker it gets, figuratively and literally." Said Xander as he pointed to the trees that covered the sunlight.
"As much as I don't want to, I'm gonna have to agree with Xander on this one." Replied Aurora as she looked at Leah.

After a little while Miles finally spoke up. "How long have we been walking?"
     "Too long." Replied Tyrian.
Just then they heard the sound of a stream from a little ways away, at this point they were so thirsty that they didn't care what they did, they needed that water. They just raced down to find it.
When they saw the sight of the stream they were filled with delight, it wasn't the biggest, however it was the best thing that'd happened since the fall.

"That was the best water I've ever had in, well, ever!" Exclaimed Xander as he drank more water just because it was so replenishing.
"Same here, but it's getting dark and we have nowhere it sleep and nothing to keep us warm." Said Tyrian looking at the sky.
"Tyrian's right, there could also be wild animals that we'll have to be prepared to see." Replied Miles as he looked into the darkening forest.
