What is Happening to Me?

Enis POV

Enis' sobs fill the forest as he feels pain rushing through every capillary in his undead body.

When he sees his hands he hears someone stepping on leaves just in front of his line of sight... it's Dodger...

With a new and immense jolt of more pain he breaks the eye contact he has with her as she quickly turns behind the tree.

I'm not a monster. I promise. I'm not a monster...
Enis thinks to himself. Worries flood his mind  and pain washes over his body once more.

He collapses onto his hands and knees on the leafy forest floor and lets out one more cry into the creaking forest.

With that final wail, he faints onto his side with his back facing the tree Dodger stands behind.

Dodger POV:

"Oh my god." She mutters to herself.
"What the heck was that..."

As she sits there, more cries come blowing from her once friendly vampire Enis... she had no idea what was happening to him. But she knew she was quite afraid.

"Am I going to live? What is Enis?"

She pulls her knees to her chest and places her head down upon them.

"What is happening to him?"

And then she sobs.

She sobs until she overhears a THUD behind her.

"Enis?" She asks quietly.

She turns to see what the noise was.

"OH MY GOD ENIS!!!!" She gets up forgetting all her heavy belongings behind her and runs to her friends limp body on the forest floor.

"Oh my god Enis!!!! ... is he dead?"
She cries more and flips over his body.

His eyes are shut, but streaks of blood stain his cheeks.

"Is that what happens when vampires cry?" She mutters to herself.

His hands are long with fingertips like daggers. His hair ...

"Oh my god... your hair... it's... jet black..."

What has Enis become?

And what will Dodger do before he wakes up?
