Resident Enis: The Lovable Vampire

Who I am

Enis POV:

I run back to check and make sure Dodger is ok, but she's hectically packing her things from the site.

She starts to turn the way I was standing, so I panicked and ran behind the nearest tree I could find... only to realize that I now have gigantic black wings, and there's no way those are going to fit behind the tree in Dodger's field of vision.

"Good one, Enis." I whisper to myself. As I roll my eyes and mentally facepalm:

"...AND FIGHT ME LIKE A MAN!"

Oh crap a doodle Daisy pops... wait... demon? Really? Ugh ok nvm Enis. This is the time you have to show yourself... after all Mark's life is at stake... oh god stake... bad word choice...

Ok. This is the moment. I reach my hand and a part of my wing out:

"Who... Enis?"

I fully step out from the shadow of the tree; careful not to touch any sunlight.

"Yes... it's. It's me, Dodger."

"Wha- what happened to you? You're... g-"

"A grotesque monster? I know. Well. This is who I really am, Dodger. A-" I was cut off to my surprise by dodger squealing:

"GORGEOUS!" Oh my god Enis! You've... become so handsome! And look at those muscles! So finely toned, I-" she stopped mid sentence of feeling my significantly larger arms and looked straight into my eyes, then backed away.

"What... what happened?"

"This is... who I am, Dodger. The only pure-born vampire known in existence. I've never been in this form before, and I don't really know if I can go back." A look of horror was plastered on her face when I looked up from the ground, " I'm different from most- well- most beings you could say. I don't know much about this all, you see, but. A look of horror is written all over you. If you think me too- monstrous feel free to go on without me. I understand. But but! Please know: I still am the same Enis, with the same silly heart. The kazoo playing and magic books- those were all escapes from who I really was- I never wanted this form to come out but you- you were in danger. I'm sorry. But I truly am: Enis Dracula."
