Chapter 5: Wishing upon the stars

"Hello, I'm Lee Seokmin." Seokmin smiles at Jihoon.

"My name is Hong Jisoo." Jisoo pulled out his hand for a handshake and Jihoon took it and smiled back.

"Hello, I'm Boo Seungkwan. Nice to meet y—" Seungkwan's smile slowly fade and paused to looked closely at Jihoon. His eyes widen with his hands covering his mouth because of shock. "I remember you! You're that guy who bumped into (Y/N) this morning!" he laughs as you slap his shoulders. Jihoon smirk and turn his gaze on you. You blushed as the memory get to you.

"By the way, how did you guys met?" Jisoo asked and glanced at you and Jihoon.

"I met him at the music room and he said that he forgot something here at the infirmary that's why." You avoid telling them about your ankle because you don't want them to worry. The three of them look at you shocked. "Okay guys to be clear, this is just a normal school and the rumors that you heard aren't true at all so we should go home." you blabbered and walked between Seungkwan and Seokmin. They sighed in relief when they find out the truth. Jisoo pulled out his phone from his jacket and checked the time.

"It's getting late, we should get going." he said. You nod and all of you looked at Jihoon with let's-go-together look. He smiled and walked towards you holding the folder of test papers. You both walked out and closed the door.

"Sorry for the trouble that we caused." You said as you walk together following Seungkwan, Jisoo and Seokmin in front. You feel bad for him for sneaking in this school because of curiosity. He looked at you and shook his head.

"I would like to hear more thank you instead of sorry." He smiles and looked ahead to the direction you're walking. You glance at him and went silent for a minute. His words made you lost in your thoughts. He reminds you of someone important. The only thing you remember is that you have a promise with that person. You're still focused on your thoughts and didn't realized that you're already at the exit of the school. But there's something that you're meaning to ask and it still bothers you. To get his attention, you pinch the edge of his sleeves with your face looking down. He turned his back and looked at you confused.

"I know this is weird to ask but...have we met before?" you asked and looked deeply on his eyes. It was silent and the moonlight strikes from the outside and it's like watching the two of you. Startled by your sudden question, he just looked at you for a second and rubbed the back of his neck like his embarrassed.

"I don't know but who knows?" he looked away to avoid your gaze. You remove your hands from holding his sleeves.

"Ah! Just forget about it." You said and shook your head in embarrassment. You walked out the door and he eventually followed you from behind. You can't believe that you would do such a thing like asking a confusing question to the person you've just met but trying is not a bad thing. Jisoo suddenly come up to you and asked, "Are you okay?"

You were startled by his sudden appearance and nodded. He smiled as he glance at you. Seungkwan interrupted and hold your wrist and cling himself in your arms.

"Yah! Let go of me." You said as you tried to remove his hands.

"I'm just afraid that I will lose you again, that's why." he pouted as he enjoys teasing you to light up the mood. Everyone laughed and you can't help but smile at them. At first it's only you and Seungkwan, having them makes you want to stay this way for a while. Just goofing around and laughing together as you walk home.

"We'll take this way, thank you for today." Seokmin said pointing at the opposite direction.

"It was fun. See you tomorrow." Jisoo smiled walked along with Seokmin. You nod at them and smiled.
