Chapter 4: Warm kindness

Seungkwan, Seokmin and Jisoo keep on running until they reach the door leading outside the building. Exhausted and panting really hard as they finally went out. Jisoo noticed something not right so he turned around looking for you.

"Guys! (Y/N) is not here!" Jisoo panicked as he look at them worried.

"It's my fault..." Seungkwan looks like he's going to lose his mind and keeps on blaming himself. "S-sorry about that... I-I don't know what t-to do."

"Joshua I—." Seokmin didn't finished his sentence when Jisoo interrupted. He grabbed their arms as he try to calm their nerves. He took a deep breath and looked at them closely.

"Listen, it's not your fault guys so don't blame yourselves so we must go back and find her."

Seungkwan and Seokmin took a deep breath and nodded in agreement. Seungkwan thought to himself that he's a failure as a friend because he can't even do anything for you. Seokmin put his hand on his shoulder and smiled. Seungkwan looked back at him and Jisoo and smirk.

"Her fists is scarier than those ghosts." Seungkwan smiled as he was about cry but hold back.

"Ji-Jihoon?!!" your eyes met and looked at each other shocked waiting for something to say. He's surprised that you know his name but he can't seem to remember yours but he recognizes you. You're about to say something but he interrupted.

"I heard a loud scream so...I decided to check what it is." He said as he pulls back his hand from holding the door. "What are you doing here?"

"Ah-uh, for some reasons, and you?"

"I'll explain later." Jihoon said as the awkward silence took over. You tried to step back so he could walk out the door but the pain took over you.

"Ouch!" you winced in pain as you tried to move your right leg backwards. Jihoon noticed and look at your feet worried.

"Are you okay?" he asked and you nodded. But he's not convinced to the way you look so he went down on his knees and looked closely at your feet. It was swelling so he immediately stand up and hold your wrist.

"We should go to the infirmary to get it cured. I'll take you there." He leans in and you nodded. Even though you're embarrassed and try to refuse but you accepted his kindness. He put his right hand on your waist and you put your left hand over his shoulders. You both went out and walked to the corridor. It was quiet and only your footsteps can be heard. You're unable to talk to him because you're embarrassed. Your face is too close to each other and you can feel his breathing striking your face. After a few minutes, you arrived at the infirmary and went inside. He opened the lights and carefully put you down the bed.

"Wait a second." he turned around to look for bandage. He glance to every cabinet and finally found it. He opened and grab the kit and walked to you immediately. He sat down on his knees and gently put your feet on his thigh. Taking your shoes off and carefully rolled the bandage around your feet to your ankle. You laid your eyes on him as he do it.

"It's done! Does it still hurt?" he asked and lean towards you. You're lost in your thoughts and still looking at him startled and looked away and down to your feet. You stretched out your legs and moved it slowly.

"Uun, its okay now, thank you..." you smiled at him as you tried to hide your face flushed. He smiled back and feel relieved. He put back the bandage in the kit and get up to return it on the cabinet. He then sat beside you with his hands pressed resting on his thighs.

"I went here because my aunt forgot the test papers. So she asked me to get it for her. She's a teacher here that's why." You're shocked by what he said and realized how dumb you are for believing in such rumors about this school.
