on february 02, dispatch reported that sm colleagues, nct 127's lee taeyong and model/ulzzang kim yerim are dating.
the initial report contains photos of them together this past january on a date. the two were recognizable with their distinctive features, and casual clothing.

futhermore, the couple was recently spotted hanging out together after taeyong's arrival in seoul from osaka, along the streets at night as shown, a few weeks ago, which then brings us back to the start of the year where rumors of the couple has sparked.

of course, the rumors were brushed off by their agency, sm, who stated that the duo are merely "close friends" and there was no mention of them being in a relationship. but with all the recent photos of them together on dates in public, and also, their individual instagram accounts that tend to feature each other quite a bit, we don't think they are just "close friends".
on february 04, sm entertainment has confirmed the reports of the model/ulzzang dating nct 127's taeyong, and stated, "taeyong and yerim have recently progressed from being friends to a couple, and are still in the early stages of their relationship." a source from sm also continue to add, "we will like to apologize to the fans for these surprise dating reports."
sm entertainment also states, "as the couple are still in their early stages, we ask that people watch over them warmly. thank you."
taeyong and yerim met through mutual friends at the end of last year as stated, before getting closer.

nctzens_ as a nctzen, i must say, CONGRATULATIONS! i wish you two the best in your relationship honestly. i been following taeyong's insta for quite a while, and i must say that if yerim is the girl, who can make him happy and give that brightest smile of his, i don't see why they should receive any hate. instead, thank u yerim for making our leader the happiest man actually, especially when he has been through certain hardships before his debut. yay! congrats :))
