It was a dark and stormy night. Thunder echoed throughout the sky, as lightning struck across the dark clouds, whilst heavy rain poured down from the dark skies above.
Along a dark and spooky muddy road, a red six-wheel 1970's GMC Transmode van was driving down the road, the rain pelting against the bodywork. At the wheel of the van was Shaggy Rogers, now wearing a red shirt with blue jeans. Sitting alongside him was Scooby-Doo, and sitting in the back was none other than their young detective, Braedey Martin.
"Rikes!" Scooby jumped at the sight of lightning. "Rhaggy! Rightning!"
"Like, lightning, Scooby?" Shaggy looked at the sky, and saw a flash of lightning, accompanied by the sound of thunder. "Maybe I shouldn't have taken this job as a gym teacher." He muttered.
"Don't worry about it, Shaggy." Braedey reassured him. "You'll do great, and I'll make a great assistant."
"Like, What are you up to back there, Braedey?" Shaggy asked the brunette.
"I'm just learning some new spells Mum gave me." Braedey replied, as he looked at the book he's been given. "Plus, my mother being magical and a master of potions, she thought I could learn from her." He held his hand out, and concentrates on something. "Lumos Maxima!" He chanted, and a bright light shone through the van, nearly sending them out of control, but Braedey shut off the light by closing his hand, the light going out. "Oops. Sorry."
"Rat least it works." Scooby commented, his eyes being covered by a set of sunglasses.
"I think I'll try something else." Braedey said sheepishly, then looked back at his book. 'Mum makes this so easy.' He thought to himself. 'This is gonna take a while for me to perfect.'
After a few more miles of driving, the group seem to be heading towards a large red-brick building ahead of them.
"Looks like this is it." Shaggy said, then as they pulled up to the front gates, to their surprise, there was a plaque on the right side of the gate, which read 'Calloway Military School'. "Huh? Calloway Military School? We're looking for Miss Grimwood's Finishing School for Girls."
"That must be it over yonder." Braedey pointed over to another school in the distance. The school looked like an old dilapidated building, but is still standing. At the front gate was a wooden sign that read the name of the school, but instead of 'Girls', it was 'Ghouls.'
"Like, nobody's home. We should go home." Shaggy said, only for the rusty front gates of the school to open with a loud creak sound.
"Guess they've been waiting for us." Braedey shrugged to himself.
