The next morning Jungkook woke up alone in the room. True to his thoughts Taehyung had left before the younger could see his face as the first thing in the morning.
For a moment, Jungkook thought it was a dream but when he saw his bandaged hand, he realized that wasn't the case. He sighed and got up to freshen himself before joining the others.
This trip had turned 180 degrees in a blink of an eye and Jungkook wondered if he really wanted to be with the others today, anymore. They all seemed very happy and were enjoying here while Jungkook was the only one going crazy.
He looked at his reflection in the mirror and scoffed. He even looked crazy. Maybe that was just his imagination but he really did feel that way.
------
Hoseok and Jin were walking along the beach when Jimin came to them.
"Hobi, can you come with me?"
Jin only raised an eyebrow at him and Jimin grinned.
"What? Don't you want to spend more time with him? I'm just helping here." And before Jin could hit him, Jimin ran away with Hoseok, laughing loudly as they went. Jin only chuckled after they left.
"Why are you laughing alone?" Jin's head turned around to see Namjoon coming over and understood why Jimin took Hoseok away. He cheeks reddened a bit but he laughed again at the younger's small tricks. They really were acting like kids, here.
"Nothing. Just because." Namjoon raised an eyebrow before letting it drop and walking with him.
It was always one of his wishes to have a long walk with someone on the beach. And having Jin as the someone made it even better.
"I never thought I would be here with anyone, let alone you." Namjoon held Jin's hand as he chuckled softly, walking hand in hand.
"Me neither."
-------
"You didn't come for that. What is it?" Hoseok asked once Jimin and him left Jin way behind.
Jimin looked around to make sure no one was around before he spoke up.
"What happened to Tae and Kookie?" Hoseok looked confused for a moment before he shook his head when he caught up to his question.
"I honestly don't know. I thought they were about to go out soon but they are doing the total opposite of that. They are ignoring each other's existence, completely."
Jimin's face graced with worry.
"Are you serious?" Both boys looked to where the familiar sound came from and saw Taehyung laughing with Sungjae.
"I swear!" Sungjae replied and laughed too as he held onto Taehyung's arm.
Jimin turned back to Hoseok with a questioning look but found the same one on his face, too.
"What the actual fuck? I'm gonna kill him." Jimin whispered and before he moved, Hoseok held on to him tightly stopping him before he smashed Sungjae's head in the ground because that's exactly what Jimin was going to do.
"Why are you stopping me? That whore is all over Tae and he's not even stopping him." Jimin looked at Hoseok in disbelief.
"I know but-" Hoseok only started when Jimin tried to break free.
"Let me go, hobi. I'll kill that bastard!" Hoseok had to use all his strength to stop him since Jimin was even stronger when he was angry.
"No you can't-"
"YOU SON-MHMNMNNGNHN" Jimin started to yell at Sungjae but Hoseok clasped his hand on Jimin's mouth as strongly as he could and dragged him aside before they could be seen or heard by the duo. Jimin struggled in his grip as they moved away and once they were far enough, Hoseok let him go.
"WHY DID YOU DO THAT? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" Jimin shouted in Hoseok's face but the older didn't take it normally anymore. He shouted back.
"DO YOU ACTUALLY THINK I LIKED THAT? BECAUSE I DIDN'T. BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN I SHOULD GO AND BURST HIS BRAINS OUT!" Hoseok's yell shocked Jimin a lot because he hadn't seen Hoseok angry like this before. So Jimin looked aside to calm himself and when he spoke next his tone was lower, again.
"So, we should just let them be? I know Tae didn't even think that Sungjae might be hitting on him because he's dumb as fuck."
Hoseok sighed harshly trying to cool himself down before he replied.
"Look, we need to let them handle this themselves. They are not kids. Plus, we have no right to interfere in their lives. We are their friends not parents. If they ask for our help, we surely will. But we are NOT going to butt in just because we think we should. Got it?" Hoseok said sternly and Jimin breathed out a defeated sigh.
"But Jungkook doesn't even know how to handle it. That idiot doesn't even know he likes Tae. And he won't unless we drill it into that thick brain of his." Jimin's desperation was clear in his voice but Hoseok shook his head again.
"I know. But like I said. They are not kids. They need to handle it themselves. It would be pointless if we put it in a plate for them. You need to understand that."
Jimin sighed again and looked to where the duo was. Seeing Taehyung laugh with Sungjae while Jungkook was no where in sight made Jimin mad. But Hoseok was right. Even though he was Jungkook's best friend, he couldn't meddle in this no matter how much he wanted to.
Jimin kicked the air as he saw Sungjae practically throwing himself on Taehyung and Taehyung totally ignoring it.
"Shouldn't we at least teach that bartender a lesson? He's crossing his line just because Tae is being nice." Jimin clenched his fists so hard that his knuckles stared to turn white.
Before Hoseok could respond, Jimin looked at him with pleading eyes.
"Come on, Hobi. Please don't say 'no'."Hoseok smirked at him and the light in Jimin's eyes glowed up.
"I guess we can do that." And Jimin fist bumped the air.
"YES! Let's go!"
"NOT so fast." And Hoseok held him back by his neck.
"What now?" Jimin sounded irritated as he looked back from the uncomfortable position.
"We don't need to let Tae know we are up to something, now do we?" And Jimin oh-ed at him.
So instead of confronting Sungjae right there, Jimin and Hoseok went somewhere else to think about what would they would be doing to him.
