Cheek to cheek I smile when I look outside my window, out to the garden in front of me,make believe dreams to spend evenings with you instead of rose patches keeping us away,
I am completely indulged by you in my sweet little dreams,
but every second you spend looking at the garden daisies instead of me, my rose thorns sharpen up.
I leave my house smelling like whatever you want me too, dressing only for you, doing my hair the way you like it to be done,
but when I walk right past you, not a simple glance is given to me, why do you act like I don't exist?
I wont forget when I asked your mom last year if I could tutor you,
she was so excited someone had finally pulled through,
but every time I came around for you,
you'd be busy out with your friends or whatever the hell you do.
At school, when I asked you for that classes homework, you told me you didn't know,
but when sweet little Janet asked for it too, you gave it all away, I watched completely blue.
What must I do for you? For you to finally see me, for you to finally breathe me, for you to finally feel me.
I have all hope for you, for us, for me,
I want you to have all hope for us, for me, not just for you.
