“What are you gonna do when we get back at Magnolia?” A blue feline asked a salmon haired dragon slayer, who aged for 10 years.

“I dunno, Happy,” He shrugged.

Happy sighed. Since that day 10 years ago, Natsu changed. The Natsu who cares. Became a Natsu who doesn't care about anything.

The news already reached them. But Happy didn't told Natsu. He kept it for himself. Even the newspaper that consist about the dreadful news. He hid it from the dragon slayer.

And now. After 10 long years, they're going back to their guild.

And now, they're on the train that is heading back to Magnolia.

“I think you should confirm if what you think was right, Natsu,” Happy said.

“What do you mean about that,” Natsu asked.

“I mean. That incident with Lucy,” Natsu flinched at the mention of her name,“Maybe there was a good reason why she was with that guy. Maybe it was really just a friend,”

Natsu just sat there. Letting the exceed talk,“Who knows what could have happened while we, you, were gone. Maybe Lucy replaced you,”

Happy was lying. He knew better to talk about a person who already passed away. But it was for Natsu to realize his mistake.

To his satisfaction, he saw Natsu's fist turned white from clenching too much.

“Maybe she already got married and have kids. Who knows. There are many POSITIVE outcome on your break up,” He did it in purpose to emphasize the word ‘positive’. Because what he really meant was the exact opposite.

And finally he saw that grin. But he knew. That grin will disappear once he broke the truth on him.

“Maybe I should go and apologize,” Natsu grinned,“And let's hope that she didn't really replace me,”

“Aye sir!”

And half of the train ride, they were making jokes from time-to-time and Natsu kept getting idea on how he was gonna apologize and court his former mate again.

“Natsu,” Happy called.

“Yeah? What is it, bud?” Natsu said.

“Did Igneel told you anything about when a slayer remove their marks on their mate?” He finally asked it. He was slowly breaking the truth in him.

“Yeah. He said about the mates dying, but he said it was just a joke,” Happy finally got it. Igneel made him think that it was just a joke, to make Natsu to be not afraid of getting a mate.

For Natsu to not be afraid to fall in love.

Shakily, he took out the letter that was send to them 10 years ago. Finally letting him know the hurtful truth.

At the Fairy Tail Guild. A blue exceed made his way to Fairy Tail.

He went without his partner. He knew better, he wanted an a alone time at Lucy's tomb.

“Welcome Home,Happy!!” Everyone in the said guild cheered.

“I'm back, everyone!” He cheerfully said.

He went and met the newest member.

“Hey,” Gray called,“Where's Natsu?”

He was informed 3 weeks after Lucy's death, along with Erza. Let's just see that their reaction is pretty...bad....

“Finally! Home at last!” Gray stretched.

The scarlet woman with him nodded in agreement,“I agree. Though, It's a little boring with Natsu and Lucy with us...”
