Chapter 23

Stiles POV

I was speeding at 100 mph just to get to Deaton's. Hopefully he didn't have any patients. After what felt like forever but in reality was only like 5 minutes I reached. I ran through the front door to find Deaton taking a splinter out of one of his patients. Hurry up, hurry up, hurry up I thought. I think Deaton saw that I was nervous and waiting for him because he seemed to pick up the pace on his patient and 2 minutes later he was done. I flipped the sign as soon as the owner left and then told Deaton about what happened with Isabella.

"Do you know any way we can find her?" I asked. He had a sad look on his face and sighed,

"No, the only way to find her is by scent"

Selena's POV

I was running through the woods, wolfed out of course, alongside Scott. I jumped over every obstacle that came in my way when suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my stomach.

"Ahh, Ow!" I screamed, stopping dead in my tracks. Why was I in so much pain?

"Wahh wahh wahh" I kept hearing Isabella's crying. My head hurt so much, all I could hear was her crying. I literally felt like I was going to explode.

"Hello? Selena?" Scott said repeatedly waving his hand in front of me.

"Huh? Sorry"

"Are you okay?"

"No, I keep hearing Isabella's voice in my head and my stomach hurts so much" I said, clutching my stomach.

"Scott we have to keep going if we' re going to find them"

"But Selena you're h-"

"I'll be fine, we have to find her". We stared jogging when we reached the old Hale house. It looked so chipped and disgusting, I don't get how he even lives in it.

"DEREK!" Scott shouted at the top of his lungs. Within seconds a wolfed out Derek stood in front of me.

"We can't find Isabella and we have been looking through the woods for a while now. Selena said she heard Isabella crying in her head and feels sharp pains in her stomach". Derek's face went pale.

"That means they're hurting Isabella and that she's close. You two have had a bond or some sort of connection since she was born (grammar mistake? Lol idk). If she's in danger or in pain, you can feel and hear it. She has to be close. Okay how about we all spread out, but don't go too far that way we can get to each other quickly, all we have to do is howl."

"Okay. I'll go that way", I said pointing to the right of me.

"I'll go that way" Scott replied pointing to the left of him.

"Okay, let's go find that baby" Derek screamed, as if he was the coach and we were his team. We all ran in separate directions when I saw it... an abandoned bank. The noise in my head got louder and felt like I was going to die or faint right there, but I mustered up enough courage and howled as loud as I could. Within 2 minutes Derek and Scott had reached. I pointed to the bank,

"I think she's in there... the crying is getting louder". We decided that I would barge in through the front door and the two of them would come when I howled. The scene in front of me as I opened the door horrified me. There was a very creepy and scary looking monstrous face on a human body. It was so scary looking, no wonder Isabella was crying.

"Where is my daughter", I screamed still wolfed out.

"She's right here", she said pointing to a cage that was covered with a red cape. I could hear Isabella cry and this got me furious. I ran up to her, but this thing got there before me.

"Ah ah ah" she said shaking her finger,

"First we fight". From behind her two more people, girls to be specific, came out from behind her. They looked like they were werewolves or something, but I couldn't sense them. I howled for my backup and Derek and Scott came running through the door.

"Jennifer?" Derek asked.

"Wait, you KNOW this monster?!?!"

"Yeah" he said quietly.

"She used to be my g- g- "

"GIRLFRIEND?!!", I screamed furiously. How could he even think about dating such an evil and ugly person?

"Yeah" he quietly said.

"I found out she was the darach and was killing a bunch of people, so I broke up with her a while ago"

"Come on Derek. Come at me" she said with attitude and a smirk. Derek charged at her. I took this as a cue and charged at one of her little sidekicks and so did Scott. It's amazing how much of a better fighter I've become and the gymnastics training helps, I was actually winning. I snuck a peak at Scott and Derek... Derek was loosing, but Scott was winning. I pinned the girl down and stuck my claws in her neck to keep her down for a while. I ran to help Scott, when out of no where, Victoria walks in with a bow and arrow. She sees Scott's opponent and shoots an arrow in her (the opponent- if that's confusing) heart. The girl falls to the ground gasping for air. Victoria then takes out another arrow and gets that darach thing. I run over to get Isabella from the cage,but I realize it's covered in... wolfsbane.

"Isabella, don't cry, mommy's going to get you out of here". I said.

Scott's POV

As soon as that darach thing fell I asked Victoria,

"Why are you here- how did you even know where we were?"

"I know you're mad at me, probably never want to even see me again, and want to know what's going on, so I'll tell you everything. I'm Allison's cousin. I'm a werewolf hunter, but once Allison found out that you were a werewolf, well she kind of got our entire family to change our views about werewolves. Our code is to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Before our family used to be very anti - werewolves. You know my aunt killed herself because she was bitten by a werewolf, but now we help protect the good ones". I was in utter shock. I can't believe I had no idea.

"Why are you here? You know you didn't exactly have to come here and "save the day", we could've handled them ourselves"

"I know, I came here hoping that you'd at least be my friend and stop ignoring me"

"Yea okay, after you almost messed up my sister's marriage and kissed my best friend" I yelled furiously.

"Scott I'm really sorry. I - I can't live without you in my life. You were the only thing giving me joy. I have nothing... no one now", she said hysterically crying. I just hugged her.

Selena's POV

I called Stiles because he was the only one who could get Isabella out.

"Hey Stiles?"

"Selena? Is Isabella okay?" he asked.

"Yeah, you just need to get her out of this cage... it's covered in wolfs bane".

"What?!! Okay, I'm coming. Wait- where are you?"

"At that closed bank"

"Oh okay, I'm on my way"

Victoria's POV

Yes! I got him. Ha and my dad said I couldn't act. Now that Scott's my "friend", it'll be easy to kill him, his sister and all his little werewolf friends. My dad's nothing like Chris (Allison's dad). All he cares about is killing werewolves. They shouldn't exist in this world and with my help, they won't.
