EDM duo were nominated for best pop duo/group performance for "Something Just Like This."

It's been a pretty, pretty good year for The Chainsmokers. The EDM duo consisting of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall debuted atop the Billboard 200 albums chart with their Memories ...Do Not Open debut LP and broke the record for most lyric video views in a single day for their hit collaboration with Coldplay, the buoyant "Something Just Like This."

And then, on Tuesday (Nov. 28), it got even better, when they scored their fourth Grammy nomination, for "Something," in the best pop duo/group performance category. There, they'lll face off against one of the year's other mega-smashes in Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's Justin Bieber-featuring "Despacito" remix as well as Imagine Dragons' "Thunder," Portugal. The Man's "Feel it Still" and Zedd & Alessia Cara's "Stay."

In a statement to Billboard, Pall says, "We couldn’t be more excited about our nomination this year with Coldplay. To be nominated with one of our biggest musical inspirations is a dream come true, and the perfect ending to an incredible journey with them on this collaboration. We want to thank the Recording Academy for this opportunity, as this sort of honor motivates us so much for the upcoming year and what we have planned.”
