Another night of you laying in bed thinking about him. You wondered what he could be doing right now. Is he thinking about you? No,he's probably with her right now,you thought.It's been 2 weeks since the last time you saw him. The last time you looked into his eyes that were showing nothing but guilt. You still couldn't believe what he did. After 2 years of dating, this is how he repayed you. By cheating on you with someone you used to know. You will never forget the sight and the look on his face when you caught him. You immediateley called it quits. He was now dating someone that wasn't you. You knew she  wasn't loving him like you did. But you still didn't understand why he did what he did. You never cheated. You never lied. He was always your first priority. You gave him space and time. So what was it? Why did he do it?,you thought. He was calling you multiple times saying that he misses you and that you're still on his mind but you just kept telling him that you were one in a Million and that your love was too hard to find.
What you didn't know,was that he was laying on his bed. Someone who wasn't you sleeping next to him. The place where you used to sleep. But he would stay up late just so he wouldn't dream.
He remembered what you told him a few days after the incident.

And that's what he did. Every time she would kiss him,he would feel you. He would feel the taste of your lips. The feeling of your lips on his.
Every time he would dance with her,he would feel you. He would feel your soft touch. He would feel your fingertips tracing his skin.
He would never feel her. He would always feel you.
His days would get a little bit longer. His nights a little bit colder and his heartbeat a little bit louder.

You realized that he wasn't happy with her. You knew she wasn't giving him enough to get him through the night. But you wouldn't be caught up in the middle,through his highs and his lows. You knew as long as he wasn't with you,he would always be alone.
