You opened your eyes slowly,squinting your eyes since they were not used to the sunlight yet.

You got up and walked into the kitchen,seeing Ethan sitting on one of the bar stools.

"Good morning." you mumbled,opening the fridge.
"Oh good morning,Godzilla." Ethan chuckled,making you roll your eyes.

"Haha."

"So how's Grayson feeling?"you asked while making yourself some breakfast.

"He felt a lot better when I checked up on him last night. No more horny Grayson." he said relieved.

You chuckled but you couldn't help but think about the other things he said yesterday.

Were they real or was that the sickness speaking?

You shook your head to get rid of the thoughts.
He will never like you,you thought.

You were so deep in your thoughts that you didn't notice Grayson standing next to you.

"Are you gonna eat that?" he asked,scaring you.

Your eyes widened at how close you were standing next to each other.

"Uhh n-no." you stuttered. Your eyes not leaving his.

His eyebrows furrowed at your behaviour.
"Is everything okay?" he asked,biting into his toast.

You just nodded,not trusting your own voice.

"Okay well" he said down on the bar stool right in front of you.
"There's something I have to ask you." he started. Your breath hitched.

"How bad was I yesterday?" he asked.
You sighed in relief,laughing afterwards.

"Oh you actually weren't that bad,besides,you know, that you wanted to hookup with me." you replied,teasing him.

"Oh my god." he sighed,rubbing his face.
"I'm sorry. I wasn't in the right state of mind yesterday. I tend to say and do things that I normally wouldn't do." he explained,chuckling awkwardly.

Your smile faded at his last words.
'What if he didn't mean what he said?' you thought.

"Hey,what's wrong?" he asked,noticing your change of mood.

You shook your head,shrugging it off.
"It's nothing."

"It's not nothing if it bums you like that." he replied,standing up to stand in front of you.
"You know I hate seeing you like this." he whispered,stepping closer.

You blinked a few times,not knowing if what was happening right now was real or not.

"Yeah I know. But I promise it's nothing." your breath hitches at your guys' close proximity.

"Are you sure?" he asked,glancing at your lips for a second.

You swallowed hard,nodding your head.
He nodded his head slowly up and down,before leaving you in the kitchen, dumbfounded.

You looked at the couch,noticing that Ethan was already gone.
You sighed in relief,hoping that he didn't see what just went down between you and his brother.

You shook your head,to clear it from all your thoughts and went to your room.

You put your headphones on and layed down on your bed,listening to 'lovely' by Billie Eilish and Khalid.

You closed your eyes,letting the music sink in.
You didn't feel the presence that was next to you until that person took one of your headphones out.

"What you listening to?" Grayson asked,puttinv the headphone in his ear and layed down next to you.

You couldn't help but feel awkward in his presence.

You've had a crush on him for years and yesterday he confessed to you that he had a crush on you.

You didn't know what to do now.
Confront him about it? Or just leave it?

You decided to confront him about it and spoke up.
"Can I ask you something?"

"Yes I meant what I said yesterday." he replied,making your eyes widen.

Was he talking about what you thought he was talking about?

"Wait what?"

"The things that I said yesterday,about how I feel better when you're there,I meant it. All of it." he said,looking over at you.

You opened your mouth to say something but no words came out.

"I've had a crush on you ever since I saw but I never had the guts to tell you that. Except for yesterday."
You still kept looking at him,mouth agape.

"I really like you,y/n." he told you,making your heart flutter.

"I really like you too." you replied with a smile on your face.

He returned the gesture and glanced at your lips before leaning in.

Your lips almost touched when the door opened.
"Hey guys,I'm really hungry can we go- oh." Ethan came in before he cut himself of.

You and Grayson just stared at him in shock.
That's when a smile broke out on his face.

"Finally!"
