I'm sorry for making this the first next thing after we hit 3k views. Thank you very much for the huge number of views. But after a while being on Wattpad, this needs to be said.

This is sorta a semi-rant, and a warning to people who are into the Adoptables community on Wattpad.

There might be a little swearing, just warning you as well.

Please read everything throughly. I want you to be aware of these things or else you may accidentally be sued for adopting a stolen adopt.

...

PLEASE.

I SWEAR I'M GETTING SICK AND TIRED, OF FINDING ADOPTABLES ON WATTPAD THAT HAVE BEEN STOLEN FROM THE INTERNET OR OTHER WEBSITES.

It's really easy to tell what's stolen and what's not on DeviantArt, but I even more sick of people FALLING for the stolen adopts, thinking they aren't stolen.

Most of the time, I don't say anything because I don't want my account to be blocked for a f*ck dumb reason as telling the adopters the Adopts were stolen. In the meantime I don't have a spare account to go around to inform people.

So most of the time I report the stolen adopts book quietly.

But now I've decided to point these things out to the book creator. To give them a chance to remove the stolen adopts and start making their own.

If my comment gets deleted, ignored, or if I'm blocked, it just means how cowardly of a child they are to not address the situation like an adult.

A lot of people do these types of books for fun, but how fun will it be if you were sued and fined $2000 for copyright infringement?

It's actually REALLY easy to find out what's STOLEN and what's ORIGINAL.

First off, when you find an Adoptables book, you should check out the creator's profile page first to see if there's an art book or not. If yes, take a look through it to see what their art style is like.
If it's a bunch of stolen art then report the book flatly don't even take a second moment to think. Art theft is a terrible way to start on the internet.

If there's no art book you can probably automatically assume that the Adopts were stolen. But don't get too hasty thinking this yet, you still haven't looked through the Adoptables.

With an idea of what a person's art style is like, it's easy to tell if they stole an adopt or not.

CONSISTENCY.

If the drawings of the Adopts are inconsistent in art style, design skill, photo quality, it's an automatic stolen adopts alert.

There's also signatures and watermarks.

Do the signatures and watermarks lead to someone else's profile/website page? Then these adopts are pretty obviously stolen. Art thieves don't take the time to even remove watermarks or signatures. If they do they need to punch themselves in the f*cking face.

Suspecting someone of Adopt/Art theft? Google search the images.

How many times do they show up in website links or in Google images?

If they're on Pinterest more than once they're likely stolen adopts. If they're on DeviantArt they're probably stolen. If they're from anywhere else: stolen stolen stolen. This doesn't count if the creator of these adopts had two or more social media accounts where they posted their adopts on both or all their accounts.

Date and time of publication too!

What if you find the adopt posted in two places but you're unsure which belongs to the right person?
