You are in the forest of du weldenvarden. This is where 90% of the elves reside, living in secret and housing a ancient and dangerous secret. A century ago the elves found and bonded with dragons to protect the land of alagaesia. Then a traitorous group of 13 riders called the Forsworn. There leaders name was Morzan, the first and last of the forsworn.
The forest is a place of forever flowing magic, so the forest is protected from unwanted visitors. The elves are the most skill species in the art of magic. The elves host a celebration once a year on the anniversary of the elves forming a pact with the dragons and ending the riders.
It is 1 day after the Du vangrata(Blood oath celebration).
